The local Costco here in Durham had the v2 balls, putter and wedge set in stock yesterday.

3pc v2 showed up in Minnesota. Here is a side by side.  Visually look a little different thickness but on my calipers they are effectively identical.  Was hoping for a thinner cover but appears no luck.  

 

Of course no idea if the materials are any different.

Crazy, here in the Bay Area I have only seen their gloves and V1 3 piece balls. No putters, no wedges and no new balls. Booming and busy golf area as well.

That’s what it is!! It reminded me of something but I couldn’t put my finger on it.

Played the V2 over the weekend. Here are my takeaways:

 

Driver- This was a deal breaker for me regarding the V1 ball. I had crazy spin and lost a good amount of distance with it. However, with the V2, I’ve noticed no loss in distance. I played on a course I’m familiar with and my drives were where they needed to be. 
 

Irons- Again, noticed no distance loss or crazy amounts of spin. Got my usual ball flight with the V2. 
 

Wedges and Greenside- I would agree with what others have said in this forum regarding a little less wedge spin. I did notice V2 didn’t check up as quick as V1. It wasn’t enough to bother me though. 
 

Durability- Really my only gripe is that V2 seems to scuff just as easily as V1. Hit a couple wedge shots and got some scuffing. 
 

Conclusion- I think V2 is a great upgrade from V1 in regards to spin and distance, especially off the driver. I will keep using them as I feel like they perform just as well as some other premium balls I play and for much less. I can get past the durability issue considering how cheap they are.

I have 2 green cover 3pc boxes and they are different from each other. The cover looks less plasticky and more like a premium cover, also the print on the ball is sharper if that makes sense.

It looks like the ball on the right has a thicker mantle layer. Is that version 2?

KS1 putter showed up today at the Rohnert Park, CA store.  No sign of wedges, gloves or any balls at all, Kirkland or otherwise.

Mountain View Costco has the putter, gloves, and new balls, but no wedges

The Costco in Salt Lake City had the v2 and the putter available, didn’t see any wedges.

Weird that some of the warmer climates don't have certain items. I went to two different Costco's in the Kansas City area and both had putters, wedges, V2 balls and gloves.

Just came back from my local Costco and to my surprise they had the new golf balls and putter in addition to the gloves. No wedges though. I have like 9 dozen golf balls right now and passed on the balls for now.

Most of us aren't in climates where we can give it a good testing.  Plus, the four piece ball comes out sometime this month or next.  I'm waiting for it.

If the 4 pc K-sig sucks then I will play the V2 3 pc with no hesitation. It is a very solid ball all around. I have played the V2 and really love it but not as much as the OG K-sig.

If in the store how can you identify version 1 ball from version 2?  Markings on ball or box?  Or are all version 1 balls long gone?  Thanks.

The new box says "v2.0".  The stamps on the ball are the same as the version 1 balls.

I was going to take a picture of the balls side by side because I got some V2's in the silver and green boxes.
