You’ve got to squint really hard to look at Taylormade, Callaway and Bridgestone mimicking Titleist’s long term spring 4-for-3 deal and somehow see Costco or Vice as being the cause. I mean, c’mon!

We’ve come a long way since the days when you guys (egged on by Tony Covey) claimed Costco was going to upend the entire industry and force Titleist, et al to slash prices to compete. Almost immediately after that Callaway raised prices to match Titleist and now Titleist has upped the ante another couple bucks a dozen.

Meanwhile Costco struggles to source decent 4pc balls as we enter yet another golf season...

I disagree with the Costco conclusion... we don’t know if they have struggled, we don’t know if the ball is decent...

they haven’t released it yet, which implies they don’t have it ready yet... but we don’t know.

the oems are charging what they can get... none of them Are going to kill the golden goose...

we are starting to see some better outside competition come to market... snell is awesome, but just doesn’t have the right footprint...imagine someone with dean snells connections and knowledge with the backing of a place like Costco...

Your k-sig4.1 - THE OG should forever be referred to as ksig 😎

If I may self-gloss for a moment, it pleases me to read this as I coined the name "ksig" way back in October of 2016. It remains my greatest contribution to the game we love.

I'm disappointed that ksig4.3 has not yet made its debut. Perhaps in May, for the PGA Championship, or sooner.

OK, Played 18 with the KSig 3.2 today.  Aside from my incredibly horrible ball striking, when I was hitting the ball well, I was impressed with the ball.  Had a nice feel.  I wouldn't say soft like a Wilson Duo soft but it was nice.  Loved it off the putter.  That was the only positives I can take away from my performance.  Less than 30 putts.  OK, back to the ball.....  As far as distance I didn't think that I missed out on distance.  Carried 250 yds with a 20 yd roll out on one of my best drives of the day.  If I'm striking the ball consistently well I carry 240-260 yds.  The course I played was a short, narrow, winding course.  Most of my 2nd shots were 49*-60* wedge shots in.  I hit a lot of wedges and durability was on par with any other ball I've gamed.  No unusual scuffs or wear.  This is also taking into consideration I thinned a lot of wedge shots as well today.  Played out of only 3 bunkers but saw no noticeable scuffs.  When I struck the ball well with the irons the ball felt really nice.  I was a "LITTLE clicky" on miss hits but I don't mind that.  All in all, I thought it was a decent ball.  I wouldn't put in on par with a TP5 (my favorite gamer) BUT, that being said, I will be gaming these balls a allot.

I have to echo what @wantacigar said. Gamed the ksig v2 today side by side with a chrome soft x and they were pretty comparable. The CSX cut the wind a bit better but I prefer the feel of the KS off irons and wedges. Even if I’m sacrificing 5-10y of distance I’ll play these all day for the price. Played super confident and didn’t really have to worry about what my ball would do the way I would with a softer or budget ball.

played a round today and rotated a Prov1 and a KSig 3pc V2. Driver was on fire today, thumb injury is almost 100 percent healed. Hit multiple drives over 300 with both balls today. Both balls bit and rolled back a few feet on approach shots. Played really consistent and shot 4 over. Good test to alternate holes with the balls and compare them  afterwards. Both balls looked fresh, no real scuffs at all, couple of bunker shots for each.

Thumb and finger injuries, in general, suck when it comes to golf. Good to see that the nalls are holding up for you.

I'm wondering if I should stock up on the 3.2. I'd hate to go to Costco one day and have them be out of ALL golf balls.

I think you're safe with those...every time I go I pretty much see a full pallet of them. The only time I haven't seen the 3 pc was during the transition time from V1 to V2.

Yes...

@Myherobobhope stopped waiting on K4.3 and ordered Bridgestone...

...therefore K4.3 is right around the corner! 😂

I was going to create a fake link to Costco and say @Myherobobhope bought balls and so here is the link to the ksig 4.3. But I figured I would’ve been lynched by everyone except @Stanks

I appreciate the popularity boost. Like all of you, I'm gonna buy a box when they come out. I'll play a sleeve or two and, if durability good and all the other characteristics are good, who knows what could happen? I still have a lot of other balls to go through though.

Most def. My forum voice might throw me off as a bit of a pessimist / antagonist but, I'm just not a fan of pulling punches. I don't currently see a quality ball offered and haven't seen a quality ball offered by the Kirkland brand that would make a convert from what I pay vs. the performance of what is offered. That is coupled with wanting to grow actual golf brands. But like all you guys, I wanna see the game grow and new courses open and old courses to stay open etc. etc. etc.

But, I maintain that, if I want a budget ball, I'm gonna support the smaller guy like Snell, or the golf companies like Taylormade and Callaway (or Bridgestone but...that's a tire / rubber company with a Golf section). Chances are, my go-to ball won't be Kirkland. Though I'll try them.
