Found a K-Sig playing this weekend, decided to play it since I was losing balls in the first cut (yeah it was awful). It wasn't bad, good height but spun too much off the tee. Way more fun for approach shots since I could just drop in wedge shots.

Will probably buy a box as backup but I think it spins too much for me to really game.

You may have found a Ksig 3.1.  They do spin a bit too much off the driver but are good balls.  The Ksig 3.2 don't spin as much.  I get same distances with the Ksig 3.2 as I do with ProV1 and TP5.  "Try em, you'll like em"

Maybe I have no idea, the performance I saw at least warranted a box to try out. If I could walk into my costco and grab a box I would but they're deemed non-essential items I cannot buy them physically even if they have them. But I can probably order them online.

Canadia is crazy, man. You can't buy "non-essential" items? That's nuts.

Yup they blocked off the aisles for anything that isn't food, medication, hygiene, etc  But you can buy those item online from Costco which makes zero sense.

But the balls are on back order so nothing I can do regardless.

Then there is truly no way to know unless I cut it open and the cores are different but really don't care which model is which as long as it works.

I think you’d be able to tell, but after the fact. Hit the current one and if it’s shorter on a good drive vs a new 3.2, you’ll know. Might take a few. But then again we’re not on tour, so at the end of the day, does it really matter? 😂

For me if a ball spins too much it will fall out of the air and I've had that happen with a few balls. So as long as this doesn't fall out of the air and touch around the green is nice I'll game it.

There is a absolutely a way to tell. They have different covers. The 3.1 has a shiny plastic looking cover. Resembles other cheap urethane balls.

a. I couldn’t tell between two new 3.1v3.2. Maybe my eyesight is bad

b. The guy found a ball. Easily could’ve been a 3.1 and lost the sheen and resembled a 3.2

Still playing the 3.2. I've lost a few here and there and I have a sleeve with my practice putting mat so I'm rotating some in from the second dozen to see if I get any other covers that cut up a little with wedges. So far, so good with no issues. Out of 2 dozen (haven't lost 2 dozen...yet) I've only had 2 balls that got some wedge groove cuts.

It's easier when you have the two side-by-side. Another way to tell might be if it had any cuts from wedges. I don't recall 3.1 ever having that issue when I played it. I found the cheap plastic looking version to be very durable. Also, the text appears more crisp on the 3.2 and maybe more bold on the 3.1.

Who knows?  That's thing that that confuses me right now.  If you find a ball on the course there's no way to tell if it's a 3.1 or 3.2 since they have the same side stamp.  I didn't think that was was even an option given USGA rules.

If you've played both you should be able to tell which is which.

Played an old school course built in 1965 today with hard but tiny greens. The spinniness of the 3.2 was great especially since it's been rock hard ground in NY lately. Aside from the 60-80y wedge shot, the durability has been "okay." Aggressive wedge shots WILL scuff even with 3 year old wedges but it's fun watching them stop on a dime even when it's fast out there.

Green Ridge in Johnson, NY. In a little farm town built by an old guy and his friend way back when. I used to play here as a kid and its pretty short but so secluded its serene.

Oh, just wondering.  There's a few Long Island Guys thought could get a Golfwrx foursome going at Bethpage or something...  Doubt a 2.5 hour drive would be appealing.  LOL

Just bought a set of 3.2, the cover is slightly harder than the vice pro plus that I am using, and hits slightly firmer, but no appreciable difference in performance. The difference in firmness/clickiness takes all of 5 minutes to get used to.

I have 3 double dozen and a single dozen in the garage.  My daughter boyfriend (future son-in-law) bought me another double dozen trying to kiss up.  LOL.  I really enjoy playing these golf balls.

Just went to the Costco web site.  The wording on the box clearly says V2.

Did they knock off any spin off the driver with V2?  The only real complaint I see on these is a slight loss of driver distance due to excess spin.  Thanks.

Check out the test that TXG golf did on V2 vs. a ProV1. Really good. More spin with irons, driver distance was comparable. That's what I've found in playing it also.

What @gioreekosaid!

The V1's were good.  I really didn't see too much of a driver distance loss.  Maybe a few yards but not enough to make any difference.  That being said, the V2's are REALLY GOOD IMHO.  I've hit some of my longest drives with them this year.

So this is curious.  Went into another Costco in my area today and no balls there either.  I asked about them and was told they were "deleted from the system".  She went on to say that happens all the time, but also said that when the come back it will be with a different SKU.  Not sure exactly what to make about that.  Will the 3 piece be back but with the new side stamp we expected this one to have?  Is the 4 piece about to make a grand appearance?  I wish I knew.

But the V2 are still available online, so I broke down and payed the extra $5 shipping for them.  I wish they'd at least waive shipping for members.
