It's an equipment junkie's paradise. When you can't afford the new tech or find reviews on shafts from 5 years ago, you can almost always trust that there's a thread on here that covers it. It inspires confidence to talk with people that want to converse and pass along information and are not trying to sell you on anything. Plus I love seeing what the pro's are using to win. Callaway and Nike aren't trying to advertise that Stenson and Vegas are winning with clubs from 5-6 years ago, but trusty Ol' WRX lets you feel like you've got an "in" on the tour.

With the addition of video contributors, GolfWRX is easily the most full-featured golf website in existence. And if something isn't already covered in official content, forum members have usually covered it in depth through message board posts. Even those of us who lurk on the boards benefit from the vast knowledge of the GolfWRX community. I first came here for the BST to pick up a used set of irons. I stuck around for the knowledge, swing tips, and genuinely good people (plus, I can't get enough of the "spirit" vs "letter" of the rules threads).

 

Also, it's the only place on the internet where I can say "I think my shaft is too stiff" and people won't think I'm a perv (just a wuss).

I mostly like reading the forums from stuff about old clubs to where to play. I have also got a couple pretty good deals on the classifieds. Check in on the site almost every day.

Joined 5 months ago and could not finish 18 holes with a dozen balls.

 

Broke 90 last month, 80 coming this year.

Fantastic site for anything golf ! Gaming my first set of AP 1 710 irons , love them . A set of brand spanking new titleist irons would be phenomenal ! As Michael Breed always says " Let's do this !"

I really enjoy the back and forth discussions in all areas of the forum which do not denigrate into name calling and hostility. It is enjoyable to read what other players who take the game as seriously as I do have to say. GolfWRX really helps me refine my game as well by trying new things. Having access to the minds of 100,000+ people to bounce ideas off is far more efficient than sitting by myself on the range trying hundreds of things before finding what works for me. The level of knowledge here is so high and has such a vast range there is something for everyone there are 20+ handicappers all the way to people trying to make it on professional tours. That level of engagement is almost non-existent for other sports. You would never find an NBA player, NFL player, or MLB player on a forum discussing what it takes to survive in the game at a professional level. Having access to that information is so valuable and so thought provoking that I keep coming back for more.

I check Golf WRX literally once or twice a day. I've bought, traded, and sold clubs on here. It's great because you are dealing with fellow golf nuts. There's no other website like it. My favorite is the weekly what's in the bag. I love seeing what tour players play and why they play it. Gotta love Golf WRX!
