Titleist 681's yo!!! I have 4 Complete Sets of them..... there might be an iron out there that is as good, but there certainly isn't one out there that is better!

Sorry if this has been addressed already, but will these pre-2010 irons be non-conforming in 2024(?) when the groove rule is in effect for all golfers? I don't play in USGA events but do post for handicap purposes.

That is my understanding, assuming they don't abolish that ridiculous groove non- comforming rule by then.... most of me thinks it was done in conjunction with the major companies to get people to flush out their old equipment and force them to buy the newer stuff on the market..... comes across as a conspiracy theory, I realize this but I really think that had to have something to do with it.... if they wanted to change the groove regulations they could without coming out with a non-conforming list and making certain clubs that will be 20 years old by the time the rule goes into effect. Does anyone honestly think the grooves on my 20 year old wedge work better than a brand new wedge that was just released, the entire thing makes no sense.... but then again its the USGA we are talking about.....

Titleist 735cm from 2006. Had them for about 6 months. The feel from the short and mid irons are fantastic.

 

I hated these Irons, good on you for liking them but I thought these were the worst Irons Titleist has ever made....

I might be playing PING Raptures this summer (at the start until the Blueprint short irons come in).

 

Just need to see how these are when flattened 3* by PING

I am still gaming the PING G15’s which may only be 9 years old? I am an 8 HC and only play about 15 times a year. These just work for me. I have tried probably 10-15 sets of irons over the years and nothing beats these things. Good gapping, distance and consistency. Even the newer PINGS never seemed better. Also with the new club lifts now provide such large gaps so a I am not looking to move on anytime soon.

I'm still rolling with Cobra Pro CB's, such buttery feel on them. But I think this year is finally the year an upgrade happens.

Still gaming my MP60s from when I got them brand new off the shelf. I've been trying really hard the past couple of years to kick them out but they keep sneaking back in. I'm really intrigued by the new 919 Forged this year however...

Got 2 sets of Epon 302's to try out come spring.

Just got some replacement MP-60's in.

Z101's to try as well.

I inherited a set of PING Eye2s from my dad. I'll play them once a year then put them back on the rack in the basement. Love those clubs...
