Me too. I like him. I don't care what anyone thinks. And he's a thorn in the Euro side. We've needed that for quite sometime.

I like him, too. Probably 'cause he's not as svelte as most (but more svelte than me).

Round is a shape! I know it well!

I'm not a fan of his. There just seems to be something douchey about him. That being said, congratulations on the win.

I can see that. But in my view, it's probably because he's not politically correct. He doesn't follow the mold of friendly quotes, non threatening statements, blah blah blah. He says what he means, and moves on. He wants to win, and makes no apologies for it. Granted he probably didn't have the best college experience and there were possible issues with his younger days, but I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt.

I liked his attitude, until Peter's Kostis' comment/accusation he improved his lie on the 13th (I think it was) yesterday when he set up with iron several times, then played a wood from deep grass. If Kostis is right and he cheated, he should be come a pariah immediately, no matter how good he did in the 2014 Ryder Cup.

I'm surprised there is so much love for him on WRX... his go to shot is a cut. I thought the draw was the only shot around here?

I'm pretty sure it's the opposite and he almost exclusively draws the ball.

Kostis is a pariah.

Reed is golf's version of a "heel" in professional wrestling.

Reed hits a bigger draw than most. I'm sure he can fade it when necessary.

As to Kostis' remarks, I feel they were uncalled for, everyone wants to be a whistleblower these days. It's becoming tiresome. If he had grounded his 7i that close to the ball, the ball would have likely moved. I didn't see any improvement at all, he probably just thought he couldn't get a wood on it and then figured out he could. Golf is going to be unplayable on television if this type of scrutiny keeps up.

I agree. 1st off .... in those conditions .... does anyone really believe that the ball comes to a complete rest perched on top of living or dead grass? A ball lying in grass is not a static entity. Example: ball lying on concrete vs. a ball lying in high grass. What's next? You can't walk up to the ball in case the vibration causes the ball to move.

If Reed caused the ball to move (just like the DJ debacle) ... then Reed would have called it on himself. End of story.

Kostis is just mad that Reed made a decision in hitting the wood instead of iron thereby second guessing the vanilla decision making Kostis.

Kostis .... remember this: "Those that can ... do. Those that can't ..... commentate"

btw: I like Reed. He's different and that's what the tour needs more of.

Love the kid! His go to shot is a draw but he can hit the "butter cut" when needed. Not much lacking in his game. He's definitely a fiery competitor who's out there to win and not make friends.

I don't think a major or a few is out of the question in the next few years. USA is lucky to have him, sorry, yes he's mentally tough like Poulter in the Ryder Cup but no comparison in talent.

I have no issue with Reed. I went to the Barclays Tuesday and he was very professional, and signed Autographs without a huff. Seems like a cool guy and he is skinnier (than he looks on TV) in person.
