No, I get that it's about the $$. Just surprised that a slightly different engraving would convince people to buy when they wouldn't have otherwise.

Could be! I thought when he re-released the current year's line of putters @ 33" in bulk like this with minimal changes, they are normally the "My Girl" putters?

they should have released these as the 2016 models rather than the stale design that had been around for too long. At least the cameron & crown lingo would have disconnected the brand from the full on use of inserts in putters that used to be coveted for being fully milled.

 

Certainly nice looking, but there is nothing new here unfortunately.

I guess if you're in the market for a new Cameron, and you like white over red, and want a 33 inch putter, this would be a choice. But I'm going to have to say that market isn't going to be a huge product mover.

$410 MSRP. basically the 2016 OTR cut to 33" only, new stamps, head cover and grip. #moneygrab.....and i love my SC putters.

The official marketing is that this release intends to cater to ladies, juniors, and shorter men (33", smaller grip).

 

IMO, despite what those demo's end up doing, a lot of enough people will buy this simply because it is "something new/different" from Scotty.

 

I can see it now - "Yo, check out my new C&C, but mine is CUSTOMIZED to 34 inches because 33 was too short and I had them put on 6 extra wraps of tape with 10 under the right hand. Baller!"

What a gimmick not to mention the stupid wording engraved in the face. I'd like to know how these are any different than the other 33" putters? Oh.....new grip, different paint job and terrible graphics. I bet the double sided tape is formulated differently for the 33".
