My biggest swing issue is fighting a bowed left wrist which cause me to be closed at the top and cause some hooks. Works for DJ but not me!

 

I use a few different training aids when working at the range on this. The main one is the Swingyde which helps me know when I'm dead square at the top. I'm also use a mirror or window on the clubhouse in order to check my position at the top. This Live View Golf camera would be perfect for this. Would be my eyes for me when I'm swinging and could check each swing.

Biggest flaw is a sway off the ball - using an alignment stick stuck in the ground to turn onto my right leg rather than sway to it.

My two biggest issues right now are 1. I tend to cup my wrists on the backswing. 2 I tend to lay back or come over the top getting out of the correct swingplane.

 

Currently I use my cellphone to video my swing, which doesnt do a good job. I use alignment sticks to help putting them in the ground at angles. I have no way of knowing about my wrists without some sort of video. You just cant feel that like you can when you come over the top.

This would help tremendously in being able to watch my swing up close to see my wrists as I take away the club.

2. In order to fix I have been working on swing thoughts and tempo but could definitely use the benefit of seeing what I think I am feeling in my swing.

I believe my biggest problem is lack of flexibility causing a sway in my backswing. I hit it good when my timing is good and block it right when it's not. I swing in front a mirror at home and try to keep my head more stationary on the range. It's hard to teach and "old dog" new tricks.

My biggest swing issue is sliding through the ball at impact and a general over the top move. I have tried to work with the over the top move because it works with my quick hip turn, but when I slide this becomes a huge problem. To fix it I have been focusing on my posture and swinging into my right side without swaying off the ball. I have seen mixed results but really need something else to work on to take me to the next level, I have potential but haven't been able to gain the consistency needed to lower my handicap to where it should be. 2. What are you doing to try to fix it? Slice drills, different experiments with stance, takeaway, grip. Whatever I can to improve. Probably lessons at some point in the future.

1. I cannot seem to find the plane at all. The past year I have been trying to band-aid an over the top move primarily caused by my weight transfer and inefficient linkage between my lower body and torso.

2. I have been working on path drills through impact to over exaggerate the needed move but also various videos to understand where my hips and shoulder are turning to and the angle of attack for my club.

Biggest swing issue is getting proper body sequence on downswing resulting in path issues (mostly push/pulls). Practice various drills to try and correct including leading with lower body and finishing my follow through. Thanks for the chance!

Biggest issue is picking the arms up caused by swaying due to improper stabilizing of the legs.

I currently use alignment rods and a Bender Ball to help give feedback of my head moving and a good reference for the path that I should be taking the club back on. My swing thought is to let the club hinge and pull my shoulders back. On the downswing to keep the ball covered.
