Has Wilson made any decent irons lately?

Any of their irons are great performers! The F5s are my favorite as they are the only true forged(=solid face) GI irons in the market that has traditional lofts.

Great feel in the forgings and C200 as well. Plus they give you the best bang for your bucks, resale value is not likely something that matters to you as you still have your 300s.

When I started playing golf Wilson irons were as good as anything out there. I'm looking to replace my Taylormade 300 forged and was wondering if there is anything from Wilson lately that is a good as these and have the same sized heads.

Yup.

I think their line is competitive with anyone's right now. I even heard great things about the pmp wedges.

Wedges are awesome! 52,56, 60 in the bag. Irons are as good as any out there.

Yes...those are my feet.

Wilson v4 just a bit shorter heel to toe but to me more forgiving. Lofts are both very traditional and not jacked up. I have gained back a club of distance with the v4 that I had lost with the 300. Same shafts and same length irons. Good luck in your quest for new irons. I never thought I would replace the 300 but these have kicked them out.

Hope the pics are okay tried my best with the camera phone.

Yes plenty!

Their blades FG69, FG62, and the new FG100's are as good or better as anything else out there.

Their players irons (cavity backs and blades) always feel great too

Wilson makes great stuff! The v4's I bought last month haven't left my bag since the day I put them in.

Nope.

Just kidding. Wilson Staff make clubs that are just as good as anything else out I think. I've had Ci11, Di11, C100, FG tour V1 and V2. They've been as good as anything else. I just like to try out a bunch of different sets is why I haven't kept any.

The woods, hybrids, wedges and putters are great too. I would have owned more but, the resale is non existent. And that really hurts someone like me who sells to buy more.

Staff has never quit making great irons, in spite of the constant parade of senior chuckleheads that have done their best to run the company into the ground over the past 20+ years.

As the post above me stated, the FG V2 Tours and the newer V4's are a world class MCB.

You can get a brand new set of 4's for basically $500 here...

That's beyond a friggin steal.

Regarding MB's, I had the 59's in the bag the last half of 2012(my last in the game) and they displaced my Mizzy 68's and would still be in my bag if I were Playing.

The 59's are as fine a blade as is out there if ya go blade and can find a set.

The later release, Fg62's and the latest release, the 100's, are as good as it gets.

The C & D lines are excellent also and got great reviews in Europe.

There are some recent great threads on Staff/Wilson in both equipment and the Tour section.

The Best to Ya :)

Wilson makes fantastic irons. Anything made in the last couple years from them in their player section looks and feels fantastic.

The 59's, the Finest iron they've introduced since the 1976-80 Tour Blades(78's on bottom below. Retail on left, Custom Tour stamp on right), which they happen to be a modern rendition of, though they are a Blade and not a MCB..

They are more compact than the 62's, which like the Mizzy 68's, have a more concave sweeping heel-toe muscle pad, with with more muscle toe side, where it should be, which incredibly the 76-80 Tour Blades had, when everyone else had symmetrical heel-toe muscle pads.

If ya get a chance, pick a set up. You will not own a nicer Blade.
