Santa Claus is comin' to Torrey!

Do you guys get to keep any of the equipment?????

 

Actually they don't. You may have thought this trip sounded too good to be true, and like all other things, it has its bitter twist. Immediately after walking off the 18th green, Patrick Reed and Phil Mickelson will be waiting. Once all players have finished, Patrick and Phil will proceed to break all of the new clubs over their knees. Then the unlucky WRXers will be left at Torrey Pines, 1.5 hrs from the hotel, with no cell phones and wallets, forced to "do favors" for random passersby on the highway in exchange for a ride back.

 

So.... Win/win

 

That's the kind of "glass is half full" approach that will get you up the I-5 with no cell phone or wallet. Best of luck. Stay safe out there.

Hayzoos, some of the stories about the club build are as fun as the trip! I believe they found my hybrid shaft in someones office because it was out of stock, and the driver head rumor is it was available because a prominent lefty was going to hit it but cancelled, so I ended up with that one.

Thatd be interesting to see.. Looks like Rod got fit into an Alpha 3w, so it appears Callaway is being up front and honest in the fittings, and not just going thru the newest stuff for advertising.
