I was fit into a stock putter basically. Works 1W with a double bend and the stock grip. Currently use a centre shaft, but also with a wide body

Cool. I do a ton of putter fittings on a SAM Putt Lab and it is amazing how many are not playing putters that fit their stroke the best...!! Always interesting!! Just getting started there guys...best is yet to come...amazing times ahead!!

Same style head. Thought I was going to go the route of a mallet/7 head style. Turned out to be a horrible fit. Ended with a 1 head. Just fits me better.

FYI for the long drive we all hit the new driver. Did not compare with our current driver yet. Was just an ld contest after a few drinks.

What really struck me was how happy they were to see us. It was genuine. These folks are passionate about golf and their jobs at Callaway.

 

They are treating us very well, and I don't believe it is to garner are favor. It's just who they are. I was speaking with one of the gentlemen this evening about this, and he said it is part of the corporate culture.

 

I don't know how to post photos as I am going through Safari, as I cannot access this thread through the app.

 

I sucked in the long drive competition. :-)

 

When I left Boston it was 14 degrees, when I landed in San Diego it was in the mid-60s. After lunch I spent some time in the whirlpool (which is outdoors). It felt really great after sitting on a plane for 7 hours...6.5 hour flight time.

 

You already saw photos of the swag (which I wanted to share with you), and I was a bit overwhelmed. This is beyond my wildest dreams and I am very humbled and grateful that I was selected. This is also the first golf trip I have ever been on...and it's a doozy.

 

Nick Arthur who did my putter fitting was very thorough. And I was playing the wrong putter. They will do some tweaking...38 inches, a couple of degrees flat. I forgot the name of the putter. Oy vey.

 

The ESPC (Eli Callaway Performance Center), is a state of the art fitting, testing complex that is quite breathtaking in its scope and thoroughness.

 

Tomorrow we have are fittings. The lightest clubs I ever owned had a swing weight of E3, so I will be curious to see what the good folks at Callaway come up with.

Gosh I love it, guys. Incredible experience. Can't wait to see what y'all think about the South Course - was able to play there Halloween 2013 and it was in immaculate shape. Also, can completely confirm that the Callaway guys are great guys - my dad and I had an incredible time talking and meeting with Chad and Harry the same trip that we played the South Course. We were just going to be in town, and I emailed them and set up a time where we could come and chat.

What really struck me was the desolation and vastness of southern. New Mexico and Arizona. No greenery, just brown and forbidding, with ravines and hills looking like they were carved by glaciers.
