Best Rain Gloves?

Any WRXers that use rain gloves to play in the rain? What do they feel like? Slipperiness of the club is the only thing that keeps me from playing in the rain, other than that I don't mind it. I've never used them before, so I'm wondering if someone could describe what it feels like, and what brand of glove would you recommend?

Love the Foot Joy rain gloves. The wetter they get, the stickier they get. The only down side is if temperatures are low the wet gloves can make your hands REALLY cold....

FJ rain grip +1. They do get stickier as they get wet but I'll even still use them dry on cold mornings

Got stuck in a downpour late round a couple years back with no rain gloves. Playing partners had them and finished the round with little effect whilst I struggled mightily just to hold on. Bought a pair of Taylormade Stratus Wet shortly thereafter and have made good use of them when the weather calls for them. They work.

 

I rarely wear a glove otherwise.

I've tried Snake Eyes and a few other brands, but the only ones I've found that truly do the job is FJ Rain Gloves.

Add me to the list for the FJ Rain Grips. Never really wore them in the cold but in the rain I remember being really sceptical about whether they would work but I was and continue to be surprised by just how good they are when I get caught in the rain.

Do the winter gloves have a liner that makes them warmer? I haven't ever checked them out.  I'm a big fan of the rain gloves but I would like something warmer for the colder days when i wear the rain gloves.

Not sure about a liner, but they are gloved such that the top is plush with insulation. Nothing crazy, but really helps in below 50* temps.

The FJ rain gloves are awesome in wet weather. I actually think the rain gloves do just as good of a job against the cold (which isn't much) as the FJ winter gloves.

This is a dead on post. Best of all the FJ's are comfortable and still allow for some feel. (In case you need to keep them on to putt because it's so cold - not just good for rain but also help a little when it is freezing out as long as they are dry)

 

I wore mine just yesterday because when we teed off it was 38*. Funny thing was I parred every hole I played with them on and when I took them off made my first bogey. (5th) Should have Tommy Two-Gloves my way around the rest of the course I guess. : )

the winter version is for both hands. Haven't used mine yet but if it covers rain as well..all the better

I use rain gloves for cold weather too. I have old pair of Nike that are really nice and last forever. I got some FJ and they are also nice. I think the fit of the Nike are better for me.

Foot Joy Rain Gloves, but I don't play in the rain. I use them in Florida during the summer. My hands get so sweaty I can't hold onto the club. After a number of times losing the club in the swing from sweaty hands, I bought the rain gloves and they work like a charm.

 

BUT - you have to get them wet for them to work. They are not as good as a regular glove if they are dry. But when they are wet they are great.

Mizuno rain gloves. They make great batting gloves and their golf rain gloves feel very similar but get stickier as they get wet. Love em

HIRZL. If you think the FJ is good, give these a shot, it'll shock you how good they are.

They're amazing wet, you can play them dry like a normal glove without ruining them, and you only need one.

Another Hirzl fan here; they work really well wet & last forever.

Hirzl as well. They lasted me over 90 rounds last season. Awesome in the rain and humidid days. They stretch a bit more than other glove, so get a size smaller.

The FJ ones have worked really well for me, they've lasted so long that I haven't even had the chance to try a different pair.

Okay, so I decided to go ahead and get a pair of the FJ RainGrips and a pair of the WinterSof also. I'm probably going to reserve the WinterSofs for cold only, and the RainGrips for rain only. I was able to use them today in the drizzle and they gripped great, had to get used to the feel on the club but that didn't take but 5-10 shots and I was ready and adjusted. Thanks to everyone for their advice!

i have been using the FJ rain grips coming from England a requirement most of year

 

although wondering if anyone has tried the UA rain gloves? as appear to look better for the colder weather and considering a purchase
