Joggers?

Bought some of the UniQlo joggers to test until I go to UK and can buy a pair of Nike ones.

 

Will team them up with a pair of Jordans and a blade polo....

They look like sweats. if you can wear sweats on the course I feel no problem with wearing my jeans or cargos.

It doesn't matter that you, personally, think golf joggers (specifically created for golfing) look like sweatpants. The fact is, they are not sweatpants. They're $100 golf pants, made with golf materials, that have been tapered to look more skinny/slim at the ankle, with a cuff. That's it. So no, because people wear expensive, modern golf pants, you're not allowed to wear jeans or cargos.

Too many people are judgemental, usually because they are jealous of you. Wear whatever you want. I see a lot of hackers that have there name on there tour bag, I could careless. Unfortunately there is a lot of people that will make fun of you, but don’t mind them, enjoy your time at the course.

I wore a pair yesterday. On 18th tee the group behind us pulled and as I went to tee of one of them asked if I was playing softball later. Really?

I dont wear jeans on the golf course, but its because I dont like the way they feel when I play in them...

I dont care if you wear them, as long as the dress code says its ok.. and ours does.

 

I dont wear cargo shorts anywhere, but thats just me, I think they look awful.. but thats just me....

Joggers I think look really cool... I like them. So I have a pair.

 

I also would NEVER say anything to anyone about what they are wearing unless they are in my normal foursome.... then we pick on s***, even if we like it, because we are just going to pick on it...

So weather has finally turned cold and was looking for some gear to wear to the range instead of wearing golf pants. Was at Walmart and cursing by the activity apparel section and saw they had Russell joggers for $16. I remembered this discussion on here and thought might as well try them out. I normally wear a 34 waist. Grabbed mediums 32/34. Tried them on when I got home. Way too tight for my liking. I know that the younger crowd likes them tight, but not for me. Took them back and got a 36/38. This was perfect. They don’t fit snug, fit almost like a fleece pant with taper. Also, it doesn’t look like I have diapers on which is a common look I see with joggers. Most definitely will be picking up a second pair as the price is right.
