Callaway rep said MB version will be out by summer to the public. If released now on tour no need to wait till fall.

Those MBs look great! Those must be the new retail ones that are rumored to be coming.

Oh no, don't make that mistake because according to HISPL there have been multiple tour versions in the past (three minimum). These could have a groove profile specific for Reed and the retail ones could be very very different. Or the same? Who knows? But whatever you do, don't say these will be the retail ones. You must say they COULD POSSIBLY be the retail ones. Nothing definitive here. Just some pictures of some clubs that have a muscle back and are labeled Apex MB. That's it. That's all we know. HISPL may know though...

I really like the look of these, but they don't really seem to be any different from other blades like the mp4 or the 716 mb. Ill hit them, but I think I'll try and find a set of razr x mb or mb1.

Very much so. Still a great looking iron and gives Callaway guys a true classic mb design. I'm sure this will be the overwealming favorite with the Tour staffers.

I like the old ones better to ............. because of SATIN!!!

 

If they are only in Chrome, not as much interested. The finish on my Mizuno MP-32 is still great after 8 years as I have mixed them into light usage with many other sets since. My other two sets now are in fantastic satin, including Razr Mbs - which also look better.

They look short heel to toe, like the mb1's/razr mb; a point of difference from the other mbs on the market..
