21* V-Steel recently reshafted to diamana blue 80. Just eats up shorter par 5's and huge par 4's. It's the 3rd or 4th head I've used (almost brand new) and one more still in the plastic in the closet. The original is best to hell and gave another to a friends LH'd son. It alternates with a 2h but I don't see it ever being totally out.

In my current bag, none have been around longer than 18 months. But in my back up, a near mint Rbz Tour tp 3 wood has been around for 5 years or so. It still murders the ball from the tee but my swing speed isn't what it once was to take full advantage of it. With what little I could get from it second-hand, I'll keep it around.

When I last Played, the 8802(top photo), was the oldest club in my bag, first landing in it on 04/12/1976 when I bought it for my myself for my 16th birthday, lol. It spent roughly 32-33 of the next 36 years in my bag and was there for the last 6 months of '12.

 

Obviously with Madison getting Mr. Palmer to sign it in the hospital shortly before his passing, it is retired and though I've got a number of heel shafted blades, including an "Arnold Palmer" 8802(circa 1960-61) and actually my back-up was the Odyssey Black Series Tour design #8(yea, I've gotta few Napas also ;) ), I'm going to put the 8813(circa 1963-64) into the bag.

 

Both this blade and the 8802 are the real deal and not remakes and this 8813 was given to me by Sam and is the last blade that he used in a tournament.

 

For those that don't know the history of the two, with the obvious difference being that the the 8813 having the alignment lines while the 8802 has no markings whatsoever(I prefer none), however the 8802 was the store line quality putter and was originally stamped "Designed By Arnold Palmer" and only after Mr. Palmer left Wilson(ironically over a spat over the 8802/8813) did Wilson stamp "8802" on the sole and remove the "Designed By Arnold Palmer" stamp on the sole of the putter. There also was no Staff shield or Staff stamp while the 8813 was the Pro-Shop Players model with the Staff shield along with "Wilson Staff" stamped across the sole. Mr. Palmer Played "his" putter BTW, as did all of the big Doggies to follow.

 

Also, FWIW, Ben was not using the Wilson 8802 for his '95 Masters victory, as his shaft had snapped and he was using a Cleveland 8802 design "Designed By Ben Crenshaw" blade. The picture below was taken at some point early in that Masters week as his 8802 snapped right above the hosel before the start of the tourney and he went with the Cleveland blade(on the right).

Scotty Cameron Circa 62 III Asian Spec 350 grams, 34", 70 degrees lie, 4 degrees loft, red studio design grip in charcoal mist finish from 2006.

 

About the same vintage is my Taylormade R7 driver - no new driver has out performed it by more than 5 yards with the same dispersion and so I see no reason to pay $500 to replace it. I would like a visit to the Fujikura fitting centre though to see if they can do something about that.

I've still got a Bobby Jones hybrid. It's been reshafted once but it's just so easy to hit. It's not in the bag every round but it's never getting sold. Trusty go to when I can't hit driver or 4 wood well

Hi Husky :) The A7's were a great hybrid!! Even after I went with Nike, I Played two A7 hybrids(19* & 22*) until replacing them in 2015, though I rotated the 19* this past season depending on the course. Take care :) Maddie

Until recently it would have been Mizuno MX-200 irons, but now it's Jetspeed fairway and hybrid.

 

In my backup/walking bag it would have been Titleist DCI Oversize+ irons but those were just replaced with a nice set of Cleveland TA7s. Putter was also on the older side, a Mizuno Tour 940, but it was just replaced with a Cleveland Classic 2009 #3.
