I should have my other MannKrafted I picked up hopefully arriving today, I'm close to seeing if my MA/66LN is going to stay or not, that push I get with face balanced putters is showing its head again.

6266 with hammer peening on flange.  I even had Lamont play MC Hammer "Hammmer Time" while he did the work!  I wanted something different and he delivered.

The MA/55 looks awesome. I wonder whether I can ask LaMont to soften up a little bit. 

 

I suppose MA/55 is evolved version of Rattler.

Oh sh*t boys, Lamont posted a few Rattler heads on his IG that he was playing around with different face milling patterns on, and asked which of his neck designs people would like to see on them. So I commented that I loved the long rebar flow neck that he had done recently, and sure enough the next day one of the heads was sporting a sick long rebar flow neck....

 

So I've reached out thru IG, and submitted a spec sheet from his website, man I hope I can luck out and get one of his putters. I've never had a custom built and have been drooling over them for ages, always been really fond of what he does, and seeing him post on here and be engaging with people on social media is really cool. Being a welder fabricator myself I love the style of his work. I'm getting excited way too early but wish me luck this works out! 😁

Hope you are able to land a Rattler.  One of my favourite shapes out there.

Hey no further updates really, the putter is in the queue and being built as a spec build as Lamont put it so there wont be a ton of updates through the process. And being the onset of winter here there's no urgency on my end. I'll post below the IG posts that this build stemmed from.

It's hibernation time for our clubs until the spring. But when you do get it hopefully you can roll it a ton on carpet or a mat until you get back outside.

You got it, although I do have two 9 hole courses and one 18 very nearby that are open all season weather depending which is awesome for xmas day and new years day rounds! My dads got tee times today, tomorrow and Friday the bugger.

I just got a putter from Lamont, great guy to work with; Honestly I cannot say enough good thing from that guy. Super patient, responsive (ok most of the time but when you got his attention it's text msg after text msg). Super kind would really go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want. The whole process didn't take that long maybe a month all in or even less actually;

 

I went around and I looked at other small putter companies as I wanted to get something more unique and really buy from small shop instead of big stores.  I wanted something white and red but since I needed a double bent shaft but nobody did it in white well nothing to scare Lamont away..he got some shaft powder coated white for it.

 

Funny fact, he did ship it to me but forgot to invoice me somehow :). 

 

 

Now I guess I have no more excuses.
