IN. Play these balls currently - price is #1 for me. I don't compete a ton so best bang for the buck is most important.

The most important parameter for me is spin control. Less spin on drives for optimizing distance and accuracy, and more on short irons, pitches, and chips for control around the green. I think most quality golf balls already have driver distance maxed out and I can live with a wide range of feel. After spin, I guess price is my next factor.

Priority characteristics in a golf ball for me are consistency. I need to have the confidence that the ball will go the distance I expect within the launch window I expect and react in the wind as I am expecting. That consistency projects confidence that I can adjust for any other characteristics in order to accomplish the shot at hand.
