New pxg clubs

I really like the current PXG iron offerings. I spent a good 30 minutes with them at the range and came away impressed. The irons felt great to me but different. I chalked it up to the goo that is injected in the head, but I liked the feel. I did not see tremendous gains "numbers wise". For me, it was about the looks and feel.

I did not like the putters or wedges nearly as much.

If the new stuff costs more, so be it. I probably won't buy it because I'm a Ping and Titleist guy, but I definitely won't throw shade at those who do.

I was shocked by the number of sets I saw at a ladies college event last month. Still, factor in his staff, engineering, advertising, pro endorsements and office space and I would be shocked if he were breaking even. He has a history of making a lot of money and losing a lot of money.

I have no issue with his business model. I won't try them for fear that I might love them!!

Prices people will pay for a given product is a funny thing. Land Rover Defenders sell for more money now than what you could have paid for one new...external rivets and all (PXG may have been inspired by this truck).

Are PXG the greatest clubs ever? I seriously doubt it, but people swear by the Land Rover on the back of a tow truck, too. Some see the potential/capability and will pay dearly for that--and the status. PXG is marketing to these folks. Nothing wrong with that as there are people that will pay it. And enjoy it.

But let's be honest; a Jeep will do everything a Land Rover will do at a much lower price. And, it is just waiting to be customized!

PXG 0811X Proto 9*
Ping G30 14.5*

Ping G20 Hybrid 17*
PXG 0317X Gen 2 22*
Ping K15 4 Hybrid

Ping Rapture J-Spec 5 Iron

Ping i5 6 Iron

Ping S59 7-PW
Taylormade Hi-Toe 54*, 58*
Ping Zing 2 BeCu

I have owned three Land Rovers and currently own a Range Rover and a jeep is not even close. Do Land rover market their products as the best SUV on the market? They do not. What they market is to own a lap of luxury and if you own one you will get what I am saying.

I can say this with confidence, Bob Parsons will not release any new product with his troops struggling the way they are. If PXG wins a major the 0411 irons will double when released.

Is that confidence waivering ? Brand new compliment of woods

I state my opinions. Putting TPE padding in a head will improve performance? Is this some kind of joke? Where is the innovation? Does the engineers at PXG still have a job?

If you brag about the Range Rover then go Trackman the clubs and tell me they aren't better. The lame poor boy excuse out the door. You guaranteed no releases and you got one. How do you know what increases performance? I suspect the only real point here is you are alone with your opinion and simply argue hoping to refresh and find more opposing points. Don't argue you know anything about quality when you haven't tested the equipment. Otherwise it's wasted air. Finally see that there is nothing at home. Tell your parents the admins that you got called vomiting everywhere and then maybe they will ban me for being bad.

Hold me to the fire no problem. Didn't Bob Parsons state at the beginning of the season his focus was signing LGPA players as he had enough pga tour players? Then what happened? He signed Pat Perez!!!!!! Just a little quote from Bob "I had Charles Howell call me and say, ‘Put this driver in production and charge $1,000 apiece for it.’ I said it isn’t there yet,” says Parsons( the new release). Now to answer your question, I saw what I needed to see when Rham dismantled Charles Howell. I do not need to go test anything. For $850 I can buy me a new M 1 driver, a M1 3 wood and still have cash for a dozen or more TP5 golf balls. So before you decide to spend $850 for the new PXG driver just review the Dell match play again. DJ vs Zach and Rham vs Howell, 2 great matches. Then make your decision.

From the self proclaimed Titleist guy? Players beating each other says nothing about technology. It's coming and you are pissed you can't get permission to buy them. If you don't test the clubs it's simply hollow silly opinions. The funny part is this new player will be standing over guys like you proving they know and the doubt never let them give up. Snell balls and so many others are changing the game and dinosaurs will be in the museums.

PXG is a status symbol that's it. That is the brand. Look at the marketing strategy. I guarantee you that if you own a set your handicap index is unchanged! All I hear is about trackman, trackman. Enough of trackman, all I care about is on course performance. Guys buy PXG if you want, who cares? It is your money. What matters is wins case close.

$5000 is chump change. I would not buy them because I don't need a status symbol. I am not going to feed one man's passion because he desired to start a golf company. If you own them good for you

My handicap is down to 1 from 4 since the change. GIR way up and game all the way better. Trade the Range Rover buy a jeep since performance numbers don't matter. Say hello to the brontosaurus your neighbor.

So what you are stating they help you but are hurting the pros? Please do not try to impress this forum with your false claims. By the way I love luxury and jeep does not appeal to my inward desire for fine automobiles.

Said the guy who wouldn't pay - you need serious help. The last time you foolishly engaged me you played the poor me, I just feed my family argument. 5000 to you would be huge to get through the month. Stop the insanity. You don't even argue golf. I imagine you can't break 90 and just want someone to respond. This was great. I will send you my leftover clubs and you can work toward 89

I can go to my garage right now and take pics of all my golf equipment I don't need hand outs. But a video would be more appropriate but I would not do it. The truth is you do not own 1 piece of PXG equipment, you probably never hit any of there product. You have been exposed. Now you can redeem yourself and post a picture of your pxg equipment that drop your index from 4 to 1

He knows that when people pay more they "think" they are buying the best. It is very hard now to buy any inferior irons, all the top manufactures put out excellent irons. For what you pay for PXG's you could buy top of the line Mizuno, Titleist, Miura, they are just as good and half the money.

PXG's are probably and excellent but people are buying more posing than playing.

My guess is he feels enough of his buyers do not care that much about price. There are many other examples of these types of products in various markets. If you don't like them you don't have to buy them.

Srixon ZX 15 w/PX Hzrdus Red 70

Titleist Jet Black 54/60 with PX LZ 6.0
