(No Buy Sell Trade Posting) Ross Nike Shoes Again

I don't beleive nike golf shoes need to be "broken" into...per se....they are good to go out of the shoe box from my experience. Yes, finding the right size/fit is very important......however, waiting for them to mold around your foot, break in period or wearing another layer of socks to "make it fit" is not a good idea. Just my 2 cents.

 

Normally I'd agree with you, but it's my understanding that the Chukkas do "break in" a bit due to the design of being primarily string and fabric as opposed to the normal design using leather and/or material uppers, or at least that's what I remember reading in the past.

The one concern with the Chukka are how low the waterproofing/toe cap sits. I wish they didn't put that on at all. I'd much rather have this be a dry weather shoe and be structured like the Free Run Flyknit. The clear plastic adds unnecessary stiffness to a shoe that would otherwise be excellent.

 

That one "feature" may make it so they won't work for me.

I have the non-golf FlyKnit chukkas and love them. Been on the hunt at some BCF/Ross in the Raleigh area but ain't found sh!t

Burlington didn't hardly have any mens shoes here though. I found an ugly pair of shoes for myself (bottom right) that I ended up buying just because they were $19. I don't know what kind of golf shoes those are, but they have the same sole/spikes and midsole design as the '14 TW shoes we were all finding last season.

 

I'm digging all four in the right especially the pink ones. No Ross near me. Does anyone know the model so I can search online?

Braintree MA BCF... almost bought LC4's in a size 12 but I'm glad I tried them on, they were women's!

 

Stupid comfortable...

Just got these in from a buddies oop! They are crazy light and breathable with a sock light fit. They are longer than normal in my opinion but also a bit narrower. 1/2 size down may have been way too suffocating for my feet. I wonder if i can customize these into low cut but trimming the flyknit?

 

Very curious how they will preform on the course. Especially the traction/sole.

 

Best traction on a golf shoe I have ever worn. first few swings wearing them for the first time was a little eye opener. I wasn't ready to be planted so well and almost pulled a hammy.

The store I went today had more than 10 pairs of Women's LC4. Sizes from Women's 7~9. Nothing bigger though.

They are women's size 11. Pretty sweet though. They fit a bit more snug than my men's 9.5.

Sweet color balladm.....BCF regional mgr said that the rest of the LC4's and Flyknits (including some custom colors) are only going to be distributed to the Southeast coast.

 

West of the Mississippi is getting shut out.

bunch showed up here in Tucson. Got a pair of 10.5 FIs for my brother, and LC4 black/white size 8 for my wife but those might be going back too big. They had LC4 in a 7, 6, 6.5 for women, a few all white for women not sure the style they didn't look familiar, and a bunch of pairs of volt Chukkas for women, biggest size I saw was 8.5 but I didn't look much for larger women sizes. should be a 10, 13, 14 in FIs still there as well.

Marshalls seems to be getting a bunch of gloves too, lot of Zero friction and Under Armour for 10. the Under Armour ones felt amazing, sadly only medium and some cadet sizes, all too small for me.

I found a TW VL Cotton Blade Polo at Ross for 29.99. My first blade collar golf shirt. Not sure if i can pull off the look but worth a try for the price. The material feels nice and soft.
