Got a sleeve for free. Great for distance. Not much else. But the ball does launch off the face of the club, especially on pure shots. It is a pretty soft ball (with a compression of 50, it should). It's a good ball.

I just tried these out and I like them better than the Top Flite d2 feel(which btw is a great ball). The Fifty feels softer and is a little bit longer for me. They both stop and spin about the same on the greens, pretty much just lands and rolls an inch or two on full shots. Around the green they are good enough to get the job done but they certainly won't "wow" anybody. They hold up very well even with my spin milled so that is a plus. At 15.99 for a dozen they are a fantastic ball for a wide range of players. I shoot in the high-mid 70s and this is a ball I can certainly use effectively.

i was impressed with this ball, had more spin and feel than i was expecting. very soft feeling. distance seems to be better with a smooth swing. marshmellowy feel when hit hard. i think swing speed max for this ball is around 105. any higher need not apply. good value though. i will use it in the cold weather for sure.

Bought a dozen of these for colder weather play, now that the temps are heading down. Played it this morning with temperatures in the low 40s. Nice soft feel off the tee [not quite as marshmallowy as the Nike PD PowerSoft - a good thing], and good distance.

Different sound off irons, more of a "thwock" than a "thwack". Putted true and somewhat lively.

All in all, a good ball that I'm also going to want to try in warmer weather.

> They are 3.98 a dozen at Target where I live.

Same here. When you try to scan the price it will come up as "Item Not Found". Take it to Customer Service and you'll get the $3.98/dozen price.

just used these for the first time yesterday. had a great round (for me anyhow). distance was great especially with the mid 40* temps. had one drive apprx 310 yards. shots off the irons went straight and the feel was quite good around the greens. very pleased with this ball. played one zip ball but it went for a swim, so i can't really comment on that one. all in all, great ball for the cooler temps.

Played the "50" last week in 41* temp and it was excellent in all phases of the game. Putted exceptionally well. Drives were long and straight and tracked well in the wind. I was a big fan of the smart core ball and still have about 4 dozen left. I was going to switch over to the new taylor made red's but will have to give the 50 a few more tries. These balls are a bargain.

I wish Wilson would post the spin rates, etc. on these balls. Don't understand why they don't.

If it performs as well or better in warm temps I think I'll stay with it. I wonder how the Wilson "performance" zip is? I will have to give it a shot.
