Deep faced large volume fairway

Looking to build a mini driver for my daughter. Essentially want something in the 16-18* degree range with a deep face and larger volume. Any ideas are appreciated.

I picked up an SLDR S fairway this year off the clearance rack and it's pretty money off the deck and tee. For someone learning the game, might want to consider having her tee it lower to get used to finding the bottom of her swing and making clean contact instead of tee it high and let it fly. just a thought, but if teeing it lower, finding a deep face fairway is less critical.

I made my 5 year old a "mans driver" as he calls it with a 16* SLDR S driver and cut it down. He loves it

Thanks for the ideas. My daughter is a 7 cap and a big knocker. She hits her irons very well but does not get along with hybrids or shallow fairways. Looking for something to fill in the gap between her 5 iron and driver (Callaway great big bertha 10.5 set at 9.5). Not looking to use off fairway just want second option for her off the tee on shorter, narrower holes.

I like the TM SLDR and Aeroburner mini driver options the best so far. Want a deeper face and slightly less volume than her driver. Toyed with the idea of getting the driver she currently plays in a 13.5 and adjust to 15.5. Problem with her is she hits a hard draw (miss is a snappy hook) so don't want a closed face or any offset like the Cobra Max. I see the Aeroburner mini TP is 2 degrees flatter so thinking that may be the way to go.

Going to buy a 16* Aeroburner mini. Wish that loft came in the TP but hope the shorter length she will play it at will help with lie angle. Should be fun. Thanks again everyone for all the suggestions.

Cheap option- Callaway Big Bertha 2007....16* 3 wood goes long and straight. Head is very large for a FW yet is still super easy to hit off the deck.

I'll second this. Pretty sweet stick and mine actually works very well off the turf. Surprisingly well.

I agree with the Aeroburner or SLDR Mini at 16 or the original Ping Rapture 5W at 17. You can also try to find some older, smaller Bang or SMT drivers -- I think some of the Bangs went up to 18*, though finding them at a reasonable price might be tough.

Cally 5deep is a great option. I wish I hadn't sold mine. It's a great "4 wood".

The original Ping Rapture fairway woods are just the thing. Plus they're pretty cheap on eBay.

I tested both the Bertha Mini 1.5 and Aeroburner mini, I prefer the aeroburner. (though mine is open faced and tour issue) I will say though, the mini using an adapter is nice, especially if you like testing shafts.

I have senior and regular flex white tie shaft pulls from XCG7 Beta 15 and 18 degree fairways

Both are made for Tour Edge Exotics by Matrix - 5X3.1, I believe.
