Do you mean David and I? Why wouldn't we be? Sometimes things just don't go well in a tournament. It was a stretch of two real bad days for me and one good day and then a stretch of two good days for David and one bad day but we just didn't ham and egg it enough...

 

I think I had 11 birdies and David had seven birdies and an eagle . The problem was we just had too many team bogies . Maybe 8?

 

Bear creek is one of those golf courses that it's just so easy to get out of position. There were probably 10 times where my iron shots stopped between 15-20 feet from the hole and I was so shortsided that I couldn't get my next shot inside of 20 feet.

Very challenging bunkers too. I got up and down five times in a row the last day from the bunkers but before that I couldn't figure it out .

 

I'd like to do it again to get some revenge !

Last week? We would have made it close!

 

The ladies have a terrible time at a course like Bear Creek—even from the blues.

 

Our better ball of -8 for three days would have beaten at least 80% of the field (probably more), but the best few any given week could possibly have beaten us.

 

The guys that won at 17-under for three rounds would have easily bested the entire field of LPGA players under the same conditions.

 

Greens were 12+ and bumpy. And every afternoon, the wind is 15-18 mph.

 

Rating/slope for the ladies from the blues is not even rated it's so difficult. The WHITE tees at 6006 yards are 76.7/143, so the blues, at 6,410 would be about 79.0/150.

 

The course is just brutally tough for women—even the best in the world.

Meanwhile, on the west side of the mountains, I waited for reports that were slow in coming - as you can see it really stressed me out! Obviously that wasn't a carrier pelican.
