need more details.

  • how long was the towel?
  • what color was the belt?
  • if he needed a special reason for the towel, would that have made it ok?
  • cargo shorts or pants?
  • white socks with dark shoes?
  • any visible tattoos or piercings?
  • bluetooth speaker?

maybe the towel on the belt was the toothpick on an annoying person club sandwich and just put you over the top.

Was he fitted for the towel or did he buy off the rack?

grommet is spun-welded to the fabric. some discerning folks find that this robs the towel of absorbency. others think those folk are fools.

Never in my life seen anyone clip a towel to their belt. If they did...who cares.

Me.

As humans appreciating aesthetic beauty is part of our DNA. I mean who cares if you neighbour leaves their old couch on the front lawn for a few years?

Not a very good comparison. Seeing a towel clip to one's belt does look a bit corny, but if they're a decent person and abide by golf etiquette that's just fine with me.

Was it one of those Amino Vital towels? If so that would be dope. Otherwise the only guy that should ever have a towel on his belt is the guy playing center on the offensive line.

Is a Frogger brush clipped to the belt acceptable? How about a cell phone holster?

ok, so i actually DO clip a microfiber towel to my belt when i play. not always when its dry, but if the ground is wet at all, i am all in. Talk about aesthetic beauty, after i take a practice swing - towel cleans club off easily and I'm now prepping my shot with no wasted time and a clean club face. AND clean hands.

i laugh at dudes i play with that wipe their club clean with their fingers, then proceed to wipe hands on shorts trying to get hands clean. or walk back to their bag to wipe hands.

small towel on the back of my belt loop? no biggie.

also....since I've started wearing the towel, I've converted at least three other players. try it. you might like it.

For the record, my tongue is somewhat in my cheek here. I don't really care if someone does it, but if it was one of my buddies I would make fun of it.

Never, If I start hanging a towel off my belt it will be sign that I have completely given up. I carry my bag so on full shots it right beside me. When I putting I might bring my towel to the green with me.

If you are going to hang a towel off your belt than some other accessories you might want - if you get enough of these do-dads you could be like the Batman of golf.

Sweet mother of all things golf..........where can I find these must haves?

And will they clash with my iron covers?

Most of them I have gotten as Christmas presents. :dntknw:

To a non-golfer they all look like cool things a golfer might want.

This whole thing is tongue in cheek. However, do you really need all that stuff attached to you when you have a bag and or a cart to keep everything in or attached? Personally I hate things attached to my belt. Maybe it goes back to the days of pagers.

Never seen someone do that. Myself, I always need a wet waffle towel which I'm soaking constantly. I look for that bucket and or hose bib as soon as I pull into the parking lot. It's like part of my pre round routine like a cup of coffee in the morning . I start getting anxiety if my towel gets dry. I tossed that stupid little brush a long time ago. I think people that use a brush are *ussies. Tour caddies don't use a dam brush. That brush was a mess always snagging up on my bag and towel. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with scrubbing the clubs and grips every so often at home with some dish soap. That brush on the range is ok also. 99% of golfers play with a dry towel that serves no purpose. I've been known to use both when conditions persist. The club glove waffle towel with the slit is awesome. They also include a little pocket towel to clean your ball on the green.

    • APPLY NOW: L.A.B. Golf MEZZ.1 Putter (Early Access) Member Testing! 10 Testers Needed!
L.A.B. Golf is choosing ten GolfWRX members to receive their MEZZ.1 putter early and put their brand new product to the test before reporting back to the community about what they see. The selected testers will be one of the first to experience the MEZZ.1 from L.A.B. GOLF, their newest Lie Angle Balanced design, ahead of it's January 2022 launch!

About The L.A.B. Golf Mezz.1 Putter
MEZZ.1 is our new mid-mallet putter that’s fully CNC machined from a billet of 6061 aircraft aluminum (body) and 303 stainless steel (midsection) to create our best-feeling — and we think best looking — putter to date. It includes 10 weights (eight on the bottom, two on the sides) that allow us to individually build each putter to a golfer’s exact specifications.

      How To Apply
In a post below, answer the following questions.

      1. City, State?
      2. Handicap?
      3. What is your current putter?
      4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter?
      5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter?
      6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos?

That's it! @labgolf and GolfWRX will choose the testers in about 2 weeks! This testing event is for good-standing members in the USA only!
