Vessel Cart Bag Review

I had the privilege of winning one of the Vessel Cart Bags given away several weeks ago and it arrived today. To say this bag is AWESOME is an understatement. One look at it and you quickly see why the pros choose them for their bags.

 

To start, the level of quality is first class. From the leather, stitching, heavy duty zippers....it is as good as you can get. I am from the school that bags are a 2-3 year piece of equipment and they get pitched. This is not THAT bag! Yes it is double what you would pay for a cheap bag but it will last 5x's longer!

 

It also has a 14-way top which I love. I play jumbo grips without a glove which means my grips are very tacky. With a 4-6 way bag, pulling one club out means 3 or 4 more come out as well. This has dividers all the way down eliminating that problem.

 

I cannot wait to get it out on the course!!

I'm curious how well the stand bags work on a riding cart

sweet looking bag. the top is eerily similar to my nike bag. like my nike bag i wonder why there's hard plastic on the one slot. is it supposed to be designated as the putter well? i don't want my putter in that location and worry about the edges of the plastic (on the bottom edge) scraping my graphite shafts.

I too was one of the lucky winners for the Vessel Bag giveaway - I am totally blown away by the quality and craftsmanship. First rate. Period. From the stainless steel zippers to the careful reinforced stitching, a built-in cooler to keep "beverages" cold! This is one amazing cart bag, and simply stunning to look at.

i've had my eye on the Vessel stand bag for a while, only problem is shipping cost which is almost the price of the bag itself =\

I've been eyeing one for awhile and the Lux Cart Custom is definitely the best value in the line... basically a Staff Bag in Cart Bag format, which is exactly what I want. Just wish they'd offer some "off the rack" color options for a little less than a full custom.

 

I have about 6 months left on my Ogio Silencer before I do a warranty exchange (Silencer grippers don't hold as advertised and several don't grip at all) and I'm hoping to sell the replacement as new and put the proceeds towards a Lux Cart Custom.

Well I have three 18 hole rounds on the bag now (2 riding, one on the push cart) and have to say I am loving this bag. All three rounds I have had people ask me about the bag, and almost every time they say, "I had never heard of them but this thing is nice! " Having been a stand bag guy my entire golfing life I didn't know what to expect and this thing is just the cats meow.

How is the weight on these? I do have a Ogio Silencer that I bought to keep my PXG's from spinning around and getting nicked up and what a piece of crap. Half the time it doesn't work, there are sometimes where the dang clubs will go about 3/4th the way in. I would never recommend that bag to anyone.

These bags are super light. Web site says 6.5 pounds, but it really is a lightweight bag. I was surprised how light it was when I picked it up at my front door to carry in. Awesome product, the quality is top notch in every respect.

I would like to see that bag with clubs in the bag without the towel and head covers to see how much room is between the slots. The towel and head covers hide everything.

 

The cart bag width seems to be 9" top. That seems kind of small. Are you clubs tight in the bag?

How easy is it to keep it clean? I am debating getting the all white or all black option. Also has anyone seen the mini staff bag in person?

 

I may try to have the most obnoxious bag at my club next year.
