I could see you gliding up the fairway just like in '96...???

"Right back where you started from"

Yeppers?

I hope that the shoulder's stabilized!

My Best,

Richard

I was there, it was not a bad deal actually. The 17th is a rowdy par 3, with tents and stands and they offered $1 beers 30min after each birdie. So the already inebriated folks at 10am were yelling like crazy for a bird. The song was played as the players walked to the hole after hitting their shot.

It could be heard on 16 green, but it shouldn't have been too distracting for the players. I was hesitant at the tactic, but in the end it worked, especially for a web.com event.

Haha, you opened the box, lol ?

The Kid is my favorite younger artist

This song/video sends chills down my spine every time I listen to/watch it...

http://youtu.be/u2HMsgH1_H0

I visualize a stiff 3i on the pin, 5' below, 5-7,000 screaming fans and a lotta ghosts from days gone by down below inside the ropes and grand stand, smiling and nodding approvingly, lol

Anything but a duece isn't even an option, hahaha

Thanks for responding?

RP

I guess "younger" is relative. When my son graduated from Belmont University's law school in Nashville a couple of years ago, Kid Rock was sitting two rows behind me at the graduation ceremony. Seems he had a son graduating from one of Belmont's music-related programs. We all getting old, Richard...even Kid Rock. I plan to keep on getting old.

HaHa, you're right Jon, cuz I guess the kid isn't that young anymore, what with a college graduate aged child and he's in his 40's, lol.

This was the second to last song in my lockeroom pre-tourney play list-

I'm only going to include the link because this is the "unsanitized" version, lol

He has some great songs, especially if one is a lil "edgy," lmao

Have a great week?

My Best,

I'm gonna go out on a limb and list Maddie's, haha

This is her favorite CS&N song even though it was originally Stephen's song from his Buffalo Springfield days-

This is her favorite rendition cuz of his solos and the amazing keyboard solo

He serenaded her with this on the 14th tee at Iseworth on her birthday and and I gotta say, it was pretty cool even though there were no instruments, lol

They were dancing around the tee box and I was sittin in the cart, eyes closed face pointed skyward trying for the ultimate face tan??

He sucks as a golfer however he's a bad arse, lol

Cheers?

I'd jinx myself by choosing this and promptly be in last place as I come up to the tee box lol

so for some reason i love this thread... this came to me while cutting grass early this afternoon.... if you hold the lead coming into sunday maybe this is your tee song for sunday? ......

Hi Blade. This is one of my favorite songs and I always listen to this prior to and during Richard's chemo/radiation and his surgeries, lol. While I do love Stephen Stills' "For what it's worth" this would in fact be the song that I would choose to be played. Have a niece day :) Fondly, Madison

Like I told Blade, and you know, but "Hold on" is my song when you're going through treatment or surgery. That was so fun when Stephen sang for me on the tee, haha. What Richard failed to tell you all is that while he did sit there with his head back, sunning himself, he also removed his visor, shades and he had this little silver reflector sheet that he would pull out of his bag and put underneath his chin so that the sun also got that area evenly, lololol. Stephen said that he had always thought that Graham Nash was the vainest man that he had ever met. That was until he met Richard, hahaha. I'll see you tonight sweetie :) Lovingly, M

The same Richard who said "I'll be damned if I'm baggin an iron that an 11yo thinks is too big..." back in March? I'm sorry, I can't forget this, his rant about the Staff F5 was one of the funniest things I've ever read.

Stephen Stills may have a point.

Yes!! This is the one #GrowTheGame thing I'm on board with.

Also this is the correct answer for song choice, sunday lead, all black, gator belt and shoes, savage

man yea! why didnt i think of some John R. ? absolutely savage ! this will step on some toe but in my opinion if we are talking cool... John beats Elvis every day of the week.. Elvis had the look and the moves for sure But John R Cash is the original Music badass... and yet was a god fearing gentle soul... ( ill always think of him as John R. since thats what my grandpa always refered to him as)

definetly wearing black with gators and a stone faced glare if playin that on 1st tee... better be swinging some butter knives too.. John R wouldnt be into forgiveness.... :superman:

 • 1 month later...

saw these boys live a while back and loved the sound... They are actually better live than on their recording..... Guitar man is really really good.... the recorded version is very tame compared to live... anyway ... ran across this video and now im defintely a fan.... could be the best country music video ever made.. if you havent seen it watch it all the way through.... should be hilarious regardless of your affiliation ..... and pertaining to the thread , its a dang good get jacked up beat for the first tee..

They opened up for Chris Stapleton this summer. Phenomenal show both acts. Oddly enough their worst song is the one that gets radio play.

Speaking of that this one would would be another in the rota
