I checked the Lake Orion store on Saturday, no sign of anything.

I called the Waterford and Shelby Township stores and they said they had not received a recent shipment of golf equipment.

None of these stores were on the list to close, so no surprises.

Hopefully this saves a few people some time.

This is epic. Sears has Craftsman tools and a ton of other stuff on blowout. Snow blowers, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, tool sets, etc. It's not just golf stuff.

Sears in Warwick, RI had 3 Maxfli headcovers upstairs in the sports area. Downstairs there was a bunch of golf apparel. Hope I didn't miss out on any clubs.

I'm just amazed that a K-Mart carries decent golf equipment. Last time I saw an open K-Mart (5 years?), there was not a club > $20, just cheap house brands.

It's not K-Mart that had the equipment or carried it. The outside firm in charge of the liquidation of the K-Mart/Sears stores that are closing brought the equipment in from the Golfsmith stores that closed when DSG won the BK auction for Golfsmith assets. The gear was not at K-Mart/Sears prior to the liquidation sales.

Nothing but random junk at the Kmart in Gaithersburg, MD. Mostly refinished balls, plastic practice balls and two women's box sets.

 

ALERT: Had a hunch and checked again. GOLF CLUBS ARE OUT IN GAITHERSBURG, MD!

 

Got myself a brand new set of JPX 850 forged and some Z Stars. Another guy who just beat me in there had about 3-4 sets of Big Bertha Irons, i25s and JPX 850 nonforged. Also had some older Cobra hybrids and women's clubs. Definitely saw some Callaway Apex (not cf16) but was getting the "I'm going to f'in murder you" stare from my wife so I couldn't spend more time barrel diving. Not sure if more is coming out but I nearly skipped out of the store after the 850 forged rang up as $75 for the 8 piece set.

Tell her you need to buy it all and share it with your wrx friends :)

Those of us on the FB page will make it worth your while.

Went tonight. Saw a beat up Rife putter, Taylor Made Monza left handed putter that was used. A bunch of instructional DVDs. So not worth it, unless they get more stuff. I bought an accessory for my Clic gear cart still had the Dick's price tag on it.

Not much to note left in West Allis, WI. Still a fair amount of clubs but mostly lefty stuff (fair amount of Cally BB 915 fairways for $50) and righty single irons and lesser brands (MacGregor/TopFlite). Actually had a few nicer righty wedges (Gorge and MackDaddy2) that were marked as $30 before discount that I left since I have no use for them and not sure if anybody would take them off of me after paypal and shipping costs. The last thing I need is to get stuck losing money on a bunch of stuff I can't return. Unless there is confirmed restocking, I won't be going back.

Just did some research. This one must have been cut down. It was 33" with a superstroke grip. It was so upright I wondered how anyone could get comfortable over it.

FYI people are saying the liquidated goods are not in the sporting goods department. There is a separate section for everything being liquidated.

 

I did walk around the whole store to be safe, only found some picked over tees and ball markers, etc..

So went to the Madison, TN store north of Nashville and found a couple things. I was hesitant to go as when I called yesterday, they said things had been picked over. Slow day at work so I went ahead and made the 40 min drive anyway -
