I’ve had mine for a few months and it’s a great hybrid. Penetrating ball flight and for me doesn’t want to hook. The stock speeder is plenty stout in stiff flex (play Rogue Silver X in driver and 3 wood). Feel of the club head is one of the best I’ve ever tried and forgiving on off center hits. This club doesn’t get much hype but I’d put it up against any hybrid on the market.

Maybe it was already stated but what are the cc volumes per loft?

i have the original CLK for about 12 years now and havent found anything that feels better or is more forgiving on off center hits. i will definitley give this a shot

For those of you having success with the CLK, what lie angles are you playing in your irons? My irons are 2* flat and I think the flatter lie of the CLK will be perfect for me. Only problem is finding somewhere close to me that has a demo to try.

Any new information on them? Can't seem to find anything and Discount Dan's still doesn't know anything yet either.

Wondering what kind of shaft options will be available.

 

Found some preorder listings on ebay. Looks like fujikura pro and speeder EVA HB. Tried to look up the Eva HB and couldnt find anything unless its a typo?

 

did a search for speeder HB and found nothing as well, any updates?

Seen 2 of em at store both had speeder HB shafts in em....its a stock shaft im sure

I have one but never even hit it with the Speeder HB shaft. I play it with the KBS Tour Hybrid Prototype and it's the best hybrid I've ever owned.

Mine has the Speeder HB 75S shaft and I love it. It is plenty stout to disallow the left hookie shot, but smooth enough to feel like you are getting good whip through the shot. My previous JPX EZ 1.0 had the Fuji Pro73 S and that was definitely a little softer for my swing. For reference my driver SS is 106-108mph smooth tempo and playing Fuji Speeder 661 S in my Driver and 3 metal.

I had the Mizuno JPX 900 before the CLK and loved it. I bought the KBS Tour Hyrbid shaft for the 900 and played it most of last year. I preferred the dark grey head of the CLK and knew it would set up the same so I bought the CLK and just used my KBS shaft since the adapter is the same. I did hit the Fujikura Pro that came stock with the JPX 900 and didn't like it. I hit it way too high and with too much spin. I've played the KBS Tours in my irons for the last four years and love them. The KBS Tour Hyrbid Proto is the best hybrid shaft I've ever hit. I can hit low, low-spin bullets or go at it with a full swing and hit it high and long. My control into the wind on either of those shots is much improved, especially if I'm trying to hit a cut.

i had kbs tour also. So does it feel like a steel shaft or feel like a graphite shaft, i obviously need to demo one. Did u demo one or just buy it and put it in? obviously that is not a shaft option

I bought it and put it in. I did a lot of research on hybrid shafts after hating the Fujikura pro. I much prefer heavy iron shafts and wanted my hybrid to play more like a long iron than a metal wood. I was fitted for my KBS Tour iron shafts and when I saw that KBS promoted the Tour Hybrid Proto as a transition from the KBS Tour with the same profile (but in graphite) I knew it would be a winner--and it has been. So for me it plays similar to a steel shaft on my normal swings, and the weight allows me to knock it down, etc.
