Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when?

I was fit 11 months ago at Chris Cote's Golf. I was fit to the above specifications.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf

I would be absolutely ecstatic to be chosen for this opportunity. I follow and post all things TaylorMade on twitter and would be a great cheerleader for the brand on social media platforms. I spend most of my day on multiple golf forums talking all things golf and equipment. If I were give the opportunity to travel to The Kingdom, AKA Heaven, I would gladly test any and all equipment, learn all I can from the tour experts, and post all of my reviews, experiences, and gained knowledge on all golf forums, and social media platforms to get the information out to those who want learn all about the brand, the experience, and the products. My current 99% TaylorMade set up is in my signature.

Thanks again for this amazing chance to enter for this. I am thrilled to put my hat into the ring.

TaylorMade Golf launched the P750 and P770 forged Irons earlier this year and our GolfWRX team spotted P790 long irons being tested on Tour recently, as well as DJ teasing us with some new P730 forged irons. Could these last two models round out the 2017 TaylorMade P700 forged Iron family?

Current irons Mizuno EZ Forged/Orochi graphite shafts

I was purportedly fit by a Mizuno rep at a demo day. Nothing more than wtf measurement and a few balls off a lie board.

I'd like this opportunity to go a through a truly professional fitting. I'm pretty sure what I experienced was not what a real fitting is like. Before I get too old to play, I'd really like to remove as many variables as possible to optimize my game.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: it'd be an amazing experience to be fully fit, and properly fit with some great new clubs. I'm 6'7, and haven't ever really been properly fit with latest technology. Been looking at TM irons, and this would do the trick. Also looking to make strides in my game, was a 4 index in high school, got away from game for a while and picked it back up seriously last 4 years where I've gone from a 15 down to a 6.2 earlier this year. Driving and putting is strong, if I could get irons and wedges squared away, I could be a pretty good player. Want to see how good, and this would be a nice start to that journey.

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: I am definitely intrigued by TaylorMade's lineup and just recently started playing the TP5X ball and purchased a 2016 M2 driver. I've leaned towards Titleist clubs for the last 8-10 years, but want to learn more about what TaylorMade has to offer. I'm a big fan of their marketing (as a marketer myself) and I'd cherish the opportunity to visit The Kingdom. I've never won a contest before, so I figured this was just a shot in the dark. Handicap - 9

Clubs - TM Burner LCG

Fitted - No

Why - These are the only clubs I've ever owned. Parents got them for me when I was 12 years old. I always thought I could improve my game enough without the latest and greatest clubs, and every time my friends spend big money on clubs without much improvement I am happy with my Burners. But if club fitting and new technology is all it's cracked up to be then maybe it's time to see what all the fuss is about.

What are your current irons and shafts: Ping iE1 with CFS stiff shafts

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? Through Golf Galaxy late last year

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: Primarily i've always had some sort of TM product in my bag, usually at the top end. This season is the first in a while where I have no TM product. I've never longed for their irons in the past, but this new line definitely has the looks part down. Seeing all the past manufacturer trips through this site has shown me that the people working for these companies have a similar passion that I have for my golf game and they want to make players play better in whatever way possible. The fellow WRXer's on the trips prior have done a great job in giving us a deeper look at the fittings and how the products work. This is a cool experience that anyone will treasure and talk about in their foursomes for years to come!

I'm a golf club junkie. I love reading about them, watching the reviews, seeing if there's a difference. I've never had the chance to do much more than go to a local shop to be fitted. I have always dreamed of the opportunity to go to a professional that is trained and really spend the time with me to get it right. I tell my friends when I win the lottery I'm taking them on a golf trip to California and we're all getting fitted for clubs. The whole 9 yards. I'd absolutely love this. It would be a dream come true. I can't imagine a more fulfilling golf experience!

Good luck guys and congrats to whoever wins. Can't wait to read all about it!

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - This sounds like a great experience. When I retired my buddies gave me a set of TM Burner 2.0 irons with R9 woods. I wasn't fitted for the clubs and they got them in R flex. I used them for a year or so and then moved on to some stiff forged Mizunos and finally the Pings. My buddy is currently playing the M1 TM Irons and let me hit them last time we played and I was thinking I could be interested in looking into TM's again. This would be a great chance to check out the latest offerings. (I'd be a cheap date too. I'm making a trip to SoCal to visit grandkids and could coordinate the dates to avoid travel expenses.) :D

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific)

Nike VR Forged Pro Combo Tru Temper DG Pro S300 extended 1.5"

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when?

I was fit for length/lie only on my previous iron set. This was done at Greater Golf in Binghamton, NY in 2015. I extended my Nikes to the same +1.5" myself and I have not adjusted the lie angle.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf.

I absolutely love golf. I love to tinker with my clubs and I am fascinated by the fitting/club making process. I have often contemplated a career in golf. Since my fitting 2 years ago my handicap has dropped from a 22 to a 14. I know I can improve more and that my swing is drastically better. I can't help but wonder if my fitting specs will have changed as well. It's my opinion that Taylormade has put out the BEST equipment as of late. My 2016 M1 puts every other driver to shame! I recently had a driver fitting and nothing could beat my M1! I moved to a X-stiff from a stiff, gained yards and tightened dispersion! I would love to have an iron fitting to see what improvements can by made over my current set.

I'm 6'7" tall and I always get different results when I ask local fitters and club pros about what I should be playing. It ranges from standard length to 1/2" over to 2" over. I would love the opportunity to have the best fitters in the world evaluate my swing and show me how good I can be when fitted by the best people with the best equipment! Also, I'm east coast born and raised. As long as I can remember I've dreamed of visiting California! My wife has been twice now and I've never been! California Dreaming!!! Thank you all so much for this opportunity! Fingers crossed!!

I'm an equipment junkie and play with feel I've had TT , KBS c taper and tour Project x 6.5 and the Xi I finally found what too stiff of a shaft is and can live to tell about it

If been fitted by the GOLF lab and titleist fitting van

Fitters usually fit me to soft and want to put me in a stiff but I find that I like a xstiff and know I can't handle or like the feel of even step up once with these shafts

I would love to tell how it would be for and average good player to go through a PRO fitting

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: I've never been actually fitted for any of my clubs, let alone by the same guys that fit top tour pros. I'm a fan of Taylormade's metalwoods, but their irons have never really stood out to me. However, the P700 series are drool-worthy and I would be extremely exited and honored to test them out! Additionally, I've followed all of the threads where other lucky WRX members have been invited on similar trips, and they seem like an absolutely amazing time.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: I'd like to attend because l have tested out the new line through Taylormade and am very impressed. Unfortunately, since making the switch to Titleist AP2's, my handicap has jumped up 5 points. Whether it's the shafts, the heads, or a combination of both, it's taking a toll on my scores and resulting in frustration when golfing. - Why do I want to go?

Well, it's pretty simple...this is a once in lifetime opportunity. Golf has meant so much to me, and continues to mean even more the older I get. I am currently playing M1 Driver and 3W, which I was fit for as well, and a Spider Tour putter. This summer my 2016 M1 Driver was cracking on the crown so I called TM customer service and was treated like I was their most important customer. I was leaving for a golf trip the folloiwing wknd and was assured that a replacement head would be sent out in time, well it was 5 days later and still nothing. I called TM back Fri morning and the same woman I dealt with earlier answered again and remembered me. She was so sorry and completely understood the urgency I was in. Something happened when she processed my previous order and actually put me on hold this time to walk down to shipping to see if they could still make that days cutoff to ship out (this was close to 330ish CA time). She said it was gonna be tight but gave me her word that she would try everything to get a new order going and walk it down herself to try to make the deadline to have the club overnighted to me in time for me to get it b4 I left for my trip. The next day, Sat, around 5pm I got a knock on my door from I believe FedEx with my driver. I was stunned.

That was the best customer service experience I have ever had in my life. She never questioned anything, and made me feel like I was the single most important TM customer. That is the kind of stuff that goes a long way with me. TM will always be in my bag bc of this and I still am extremely grateful for everything she did.

It would be a dream to participate in this opportunity, and I would love to provide my review of this experience and these irons. And I would love to try to personally thank the woman that I dealt with earlier this summer.
