Not fit, but I've been playing the same specs and shaft for years

Being left handed I have limited options to a true forged players iron. I've been interested in trying the P750 but no one has a demo. Would love to game them if they are as good as the pictures look.

Were you fit for your current irons? Yes at Peak Performance in Toronto Ontario in September 2016

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: Taylormade firesole was my 1st driver ever. That bubble shaft was the pinnacle of shaft technology. Always been a fan of TM until the last couple years. I have gone away from most of there products due to redundancy and mediocre products. I would really like to see if TM could reignite that passion I use to have for there products.

Current hdcp: 6.7

Current irons: TM RSI Tp 5-pw, TM UDI 2-4, TM mill grind gap & sw

Fit for current irons: yes, local golf shop

Why the forged experience: Everything in my bag is TM, from clubs to balls. There is no other manufacturer that has the quality and appeal that TM does. My equipment will always be Taylormade for as long as I play the game. It would be a dream come true to see the facility and be fit by the experts.

So my index is 5.6.

I play the 2014 TM MC's w/ project X 5.5's

I was fit for them by my instructor at Golftec, a TM staffer. It was my first set of TM irons ever, and they've been really great.

I'm dying to do this because I started a business in the last couple of years and frankly, don't have a pot to pee in and am dying to upgrade sticks but just can't afford it at the moment. One time in my life, I'd love to try out the "latest and greatest" and this years' offerings (770, 750 and potentially, 730's) look absolutely incredible. I've actually been borrowing the 770's when I practice indoors haha.

I'm on Twitter and very active so I'm glad to post updates. I would absolutely love this experience!!!

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - I have always been a huge fan of Taylormade equipment and always had at least one of their clubs in my bag. After playing the RAC TP blades for 10 years I am craving that feeling of Taylormade irons again and would love the chance to document a full experience like they are offering.

Congrats to whoever gets chosen as this would be a once in a lifetime experience!

P.S. This would make an amazing 30th birthday present today for me nudge nudge wink wink haha

Handicap 6.1

Currently playing tm rsi1 reax reg flex

Fitted at golf galaxy when rsi models first came out

I would love the opportunity to test out the different models and discuss w tm r&d team my experience from the perpective of a weekend warrior with an average swing speed whose swing is not necessarily the prettiest but is consistent and someone who firmly believes that the shaft is just as important if not more important than the head of the club. I am constantly testing new models of irons and find that most brands including tm focuses and markets "distance" and "forgiveness" bc thats what most golfers are looking for. While forged irons def feel better, i chose the rsi1 (a game improvement iron) over the rsi2 (better players iron with forged face) bc i was consistently hitting my balls 5-10 yards further and it was simply much easier to hit (due largely in part by shaft flex and more offset). I cant shape shots. I hit a natural fade and thats all i can play. Blades intimidate me as i cant hit the sweet spot everytime. Most forged irons are better players irons and have a thinner top line w less offset. I would love to play forged and to get fitted w a set of tm forged irons w the shaft that is best suited for my swing would be a dream come true. However i would easily sacrifice playing forged and continue to play my game improvement cast irons if it turned out that the forged irons did not improve my game. I would love the opportunity to find out.

Titleist 716 AP2 5-9 Project X LZ

I am a GolfWRX member.

My current handicap is 15

My current irons are the Cobra King F7 single length irons, steel shaft, stiff flex

I was not fit for these irons

I am a new golfer - playing for < 3 years. I would like the opportunities to be properly fit for clubs so that I can continue to improve my swing and lower my handicap. I currently use Taylor Made woods (driver, 3wood, 5wood and hybrid) and love these clubs. I'm interested to see if I like using their irons as well.

Current handicap - 5.1

Current irons - Titleist AP2 714 project x 6.0

Fit at private country club

I have been a long term Titleist player, but recently began a switch to Taylormade, starting with an M2 3HL with Black Tie shaft. Have been admiring the P770s since they hit the market. Having been fitted for most clubs in my bag, including my putter, the experience to work with the Taylormade team in a switch to their clubs would be a dream come true.

  • Have been looking for a new set of fitted irons to replace the Mizunos but haven't found any that feel or perform better. Maybe this experience would be the thing that changes my mind.

There's definitely something more important that I should be doing.

I also am just coming back from a bout of tendonitis in my elbow and would love a proper fitting into a graphite iron shaft to see if it could help with the wear and tear on the body.
    • I am more than willing to provide detailed honest reviews, and I am not a fanboy of any particular brand as I carry a fairly mixed bag o sticks.

-Current USGA handicap: 6.3

-Current irons/shafts: Callaway Apex Pro Combo 4-A, Project X PXI 5.5, +.5"

-I was fit for my current irons at Club Champion golf in Atlanta in January.

-I love quality golf equipment. Probably why I spend so much time on GolfWRX! Probably why I've always played Taylormade woods! I'd love the opportunity to see up close and personal Taylormade's approach to iron design and share learnings with the GolfWRX community. I fell in love with the game 6 short years ago playing a set of stock Burner 2.0s and will never forget the way those Taylormade irons made me feel. While my handicap has dropped significantly since those days and I've graduated to playing forged irons, my greatest area of opportunity for improvement is in 100-200yd ball striking. I'm flighting the ball too low and I'm not holding greens. I'd love to see if Taylormade could get me back to that mid-high-launching powerful feel I miss in my Burner 2.0s with the consistency and feel their new forged lineup provides.

Professionally, I work in product design and I'm a passionate believer in innovation process, trying new ideas, new materials, etc to achieve breakthrough. I'd love the opportunity to spend time with the staff at the most innovative golf company in history and learn how they approach product design and work through complex problems.

Finally, I'll add this. Unlike many other submissions, I HAVE been professionally fitted before. First and only time was earlier this year. To be honest, I haven't been overly impressed with the results. I felt like I was just "another appointment" and the fitter took the first "acceptable" head/shaft combo that looked good to HIM. That being said, I'd love to give a professional fitting another go, especially as part of such an exclusive experience that I'd be telling people about for years! Would be incredibly grateful if GolfWRX and Taylormade gave me that opportunity!

I love the look of the P750 irons and i tried them at the time, but they weren't producing the same numbers as my clubs now. I also want to go and check out the R&D side of the experience because i love what companies are coming up with in regards of new technology. Being in the Golf business, I do get to try all the new clubs but dont get in depth with each of them. I wat to be able to give full feedback on my fitting experience as well as playing with them because that's how I think how you determine if the clubs fit you.
