  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) I play The Hogan PTx irons. They have progressive lie angles. Long irons (4,5) are 1 degree up, Mid Irons (6,7,8) are standard and shorts irons (9,PW) are 1 degree flat. They are standard length x100 Dynamic Gold Shafts
  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? I was retro fit by a fitter at the PGA Superstore in Southlake TX. We used foresight to help us determine lie angles and shafts
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf As someone who is obsessed with golf equipment it would be an incredible opportunity to really learn the science behind the game. Having the same guys who fit PGA Players fit me would be a dream come true. I would also love the experience of going out to the Kingdom and just learning. When I worked at a Top 100 Fitter one of my favorite things to do was just talk club fitting and technology with our fitters. Being able to do that with the best of the best is something I would love to do. I would also love ot become a fitter myself one day and being able to ask questions and learn from the best would provide me invaluable information.

  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) 716 AP2 with Dynamic Gold AMT s400 or 690mb with Dynamic Gold AMT x100
  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? I wasn't for for my current irons but was fit for the 714's about 4 years ago and have played similar clubs with same shafts.
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf? Until recently I have never used TaylorMade products. I started with the 2016 M2 3HL which I actually used as my driver for about 6 months, then added 2016 M2 driver and recently switched to the TP5X ball. The clubs have stayed in the bag for over a year now and the ball is awesome. I'd like to attend because I'm really interested in the p750 irons but haven't found anywhere local to me to try them out. I also know my swing has changed significantly in the last 6 months so I'd like to see what an iron fitting can do for me.

- What are your current irons and shafts (be specific): Callaway Apex CF 16 with True Temper XP 95

- Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when?: yes. I was fit at At The Arkansas Golf Center in the Spring of 2016.

- With a new baby on the way in October, my wife would not let me take a golf trip in August :(. This would be a nice consolation prize... and I can't see any reason why the new baby can't have the first and middle name of Taylor May (for a girl) or Taylor Made (for a boy).

Love the look of the new TM forged irons. Like Ben Hogan said you can't beat the feel of a forged club.

I would love to see the facilities at TaylorMade and talk to the pros there and get their take on how to fix an old guy like me

  • I used to be a fitter when I worked at a golf shop after college. I'd love to see how much more robust and detailed the fitting process is now and how it has changed in the last 10 years since I worked in the golf business. It would also be great to see how a "professional" fitting experience compares to what the normal golfer receives from a local golf shop. Also, it'd be interesting to see how these professionals evaluate my swing and fit compared to what I think when I self-fit.

Thanks for the opportunity!

- Current USGA handicap 4.4

- What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) PXG 0311 (3-5), 0311T (6-PW) with KBS Tour shafts (120g, stiff flex). Lengths and lie angles are standard based on PXG's website. The 4-iron and 5-iron are bent weak (half a degree to 22 and one degree to 25, respectively) for consistent gapping within a blended set (lofts are PXG standard otherwise).

- Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where/when? Yes, by a PXG Master Fitter this spring near where I live

- State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf. I have an inquiring mind when it comes to golf and am constantly picking the brains of my swing instructor and fitter. For me, the opportunity to meet with TaylorMade's marketing and R&D teams and learn from among the best in the business is greater than being fitted. I'm familiar with their irons; my first set was the Tour Preferred (2008) and I also played the RSi TP.

Thank you!

1. Current USGA handicap is 12.7

2. current set are the Srixon z565 with the nippon 980 GH shaft irons. stiff flex

3. Self fitted after a few other irons which were Taylormades and Callaway.

4. I am a big Taylormade follower but have not been blown away from their latest iron lines. I used to play their Rocketbladez tour which i still love the look. Currently i play TM driver and woods as well as the spider tour putter. So i would def enjoy a chance to check TM's new irons!

Fitted several years ago at Baker's Custom Golf in Tulsa.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf.

Haven't updated my irons in several years and my game have definitely changed over the years. Update is needed and what better way than from the experts at Taylor Made. Plus my son recently moved to San Diego and it would be great to play a round with my favorite partner.

Plus all in for comments and updates on the experience.

  • Current irons are 4-PW RSI TP with C-Taper Stiff 120g shafts +1/2" length.
  • I was fit for these irons by the pros at French Lick Golf Resort in French Lick, Indiana.

Being able to see where all the magic happens and be fitted by the best TM fitters in the industry would be a once in a lifetime experience.

I would have no problems contributing my experiences on GolfWRX and all my other social media platforms.

Current USGA handicap - 9.9 (although I didn't renew my USGA membership this year due to a couple factors).

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) - KZG ECII and KBS tour C

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? - Yes I was fit by Steve Kirkpatrick at Golf RX in Mt Juliet TN in 2012

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - I've worked really diligently over the last 2 years fixing my swing. I'm getting very close to the swing I am wanting, but I know my clubs were fit for a swing that doesn't exist anymore. I'm sure there would be a lot of benefits to getting fit for new clubs.

Handicap - 12.1

Irons - Nike Vapor Pro 3-pw with c-taper s+ 125

Taylormade 2014 MB 6-pw MC 3-5 Kbs x-stiff

Fitting- Yes on the Nikes but the taylormades weren't and that's why they aren't my gamers

Why? - Big fan of the Taylormade 2014 tour preferred series of irons but haven't been a fan as of later iron sets. The new 700 series does look very promising and would love to be fit for a set. Also when I was fit it was more of me fitting myself so I haven't been professionally fit. I am not a fan of how the PGA superstores try to get me in the most forgiving irons with the softest shafts (didn't hit the fitters launch height requirement because I hit that shot thin even though they only let me hit 1 shot with that shaft.) I just really want to get professionally fitted for a nice set of forged clubs especially from Taylormade.

  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? Unfortunately not. I bought these used approximately 10 years ago.
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf I'm in the market for upgrading my set and am planning to get fit for the next set. I'm eager to see how I could benefit from a properly fit set of irons and couldn't imagine a better opportunity than to get fit at the Kingdom. I feel that it would allow me to be fully confident in my equipment and continue to focus on improving my game. I have avidly read about prior experiences of Golfwrx members at the Kingdom and have been very impressed about the quality of the experience and how much they're able to learn. I'd be happy to give a detailed account about my experience so that others could learn and benefit as I have in the past.

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific): Cobra Fly-Z+ Forged with KBS Tour 125 S+

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? I was not fit.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: (warning, this is a little long) I have been a proud member of this forum for many many years. I am an avid reader of the forum, logging on for about an hour almost every day. I may not post as much as others, not because I have no opinions, but because I have reverence for and love reading the ideas and experiences of others so that I can learn as much possible about the wonderful world of equipment we live in today. I like to post whenever I have worthwhile contributions, and would relish the chance to get my "big shot" at sharing my experiences with the community here if I was selected. By trade, I am a social media marketing manager so I understand the importance of thoughtful communication to create meaningful social conversations. From a club fitting perspective; I worked as a fitter for 5+ years at a major golf retail store and have a strong passion for how fitting enhances the potential of every player to hit great shots, regardless of their ability. However, ironically, I have never had access to someone who I could trust to objectively look into my equipment needs and talk to me about how I should be fit to enhance my ability. I am a "special case" if you will, as I am an athletic 6'6" with a long torso and a long waist. I have been improperly or "had conflicting ideas" about what length and lie would be best for me throughout my bag, and would feel especially blessed to be put into good hands who could explain their fitting ideology to me and help me unlock some of the mysteries that I have been puzzling over for many years about my own gear.

  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) - Mizuno JPX 900 Forged (5-PW), Project X LZ 6.0 Shafts. Lie angles are 2 flat, lofts are 1 weak of standard.
  • Were you fit for your current irons? Technically, I was not fit for these irons. However, I have been through multiple trackman fittings in the past (including the Kingdom at Reynolds a few years ago) and have a good idea of of my specs. I fit myself for these at a GolfTec location not long after they came out.
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - Since I last went to the Kingdom at Reynolds, I have made a lot of swing changes. My handicap has dropped 3 shots. I am still playing the same driver shaft I was fitted for in the R15, but it has moved from an 2016 M1 to a 2016 M2. I'm still playing the same R15 5 wood. I have a 2017 M2 3 wood in the bag now and I am very happy overall with my woods. That said, I was not really happy with the RSI TP irons I was fit for at the kingdom and they left the bag a long time ago. I would like to get back into a set of TM irons (and wedges) to complete the bag.

-Current HDCP 6.9

-Callaway Apex Pro16, standard project x 6.0

-I technically wasn't at time of purchase but did get on the monitor after purchase with the Callaway fitter at Edwin Watts to confirm shafts. Wasn't enough of a difference to merit a change

-I would love to be selected for this great opportunity simply because I'm a golf nerd! I love the technical aspect of golf equipment. I've never hit these new TM irons, held them though and they are beautiful. I've played forged MP line, AP2, Xforged and now my current Apex pro16s. I feel I have enough game for honest evaluations, strike with enough efficiency and the golf nerd, see: junky, in me dreams of an opportunity such as this.

Let me start by saying thank you to GolfWRX and TaylorMade for this incredible opportunity.

  • Current USGA handicap 4.5 at 8/1/17, trending 4.3
  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) Mizuno JPX 825 Pro w/ Dynamic Gold S300
  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? I have never been fit for irons outside of demo days with subtle tweaks to standard
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf I grew up playing TaylorMade 320 irons that I somehow swindled from my dad and played those irons until early 2013. That being said, I'm coming to a point with my Mizuno's to refresh (I try and play about 85 rounds a year (pretty good for living in Ohio). The new products TaylorMade is putting out through tour players is extremely exciting and really fits my eye from the pics I've seen. I'm also a junkie for deep facts about why something was manufactured or designed the way it was. A true professional fitting would be something my iron game could really excel from. To be given this opportunity would be the chance of a lifetime and would enjoy it to the absolute max!

Thank you once again GolfWRX and TaylorMade for the opportunity.

  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? – never fitted by professional fitter but I fitted myself by trial and error

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf –As stated above, I have never fitted nor took a lesson. When I went through major overhaul of irons past 6 months, I learned tremendous amount of overall aspect of golf; not just the technology but entire game. My own trial and error fitting process was totally based on feeling. However, being a huge data guy, I would love to take the opportunity to learn how the professional fitters quantify the “feeling” and to compare the outcomes altogether. On top, TaylorMade was like Nike Air to my golf perspective (before joining this website) and it would be much appreciated if my first fitting experience is done at TaylorMade

Thank you for the opportunity!
