Current Handicap - 4.0

Current Irons- Titleist 716CB Dynamic Gold AMT X-100 fit at Titleist Facility Carlsbad 2016

Why would I like this? I was a former Assistant Profesisonal, mini tour player, Professional Caddy and Course manager and expert Clubfitter, so I've got he experience and knowledge, I also have a journalism degree. BUT! Most of all..

My newborn Son was recently diagnosed with a rare and debilitating Genetic Disorder. My wife and I are devastated with the news and our lives have been turned upside down..

I am not trying to play the pity card, but I'm just looking for a little happiness and normality in the world after we try and put our lives back together.

Plus I'm originally from Australia and what doesn't sound better with an Aussie accent bahaha;)

Thanks again and good luck guys!

What are your current irons and shafts: TM Speedblade w 85g stock stiff shafts

Were you fit for your current irons: No

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at Taylormade Golf: The shaft optimizer device said my number one match was the C Taper 130x but I play an 85g stiff--hahaha--I need help! Would absolutely love the opportunity to get fit in something more appropriate for my swing speed (95mph 7 iron) (115 mph driver) and see the differences as I know my game has struggled because of incorrect fitting shafts.

Thank you TM and GolfWRX for consideration,

Todd

Irons: Alpha C1 Pro forged

Shafts: True Temper x100

Fitted: 2010 by Mike Harris at Pro fit Golf in North Myrtle Beach, SC

Honestly, I don't think i'll be able to afford a fitting for a nice set anytime soon, so this would be awesome. I'd love to contribute more, both on this site and on social media. I love TM, I only use TM for fairway woods and drivers. Thank you for any consideration.

  • Current handicap 6.7
  • Currently play a set of Scratch Don White Custom Blades with Steelfiber 110 stiff flex irons.
  • I was not fit for my irons. I have never had a club fitting in my life. I have just gone off of feel and looks when picking my irons. I like a thin topline, sole and not much off set in my irons at address. This seems to give me the confidence it hit solid iron shots.
  • I am a huge fan of the tech and geek side of golf. I love following small club builders and putter makers on social media to see and follow the process on how clubs are made and designed. I love the numbers aspect that goes into the game, launch angles, angle of attack, etc. I also have never had the opportunity to be fit and would love to experience it at one of the best places in the world. I am a father of 3 young kids and don't get to golf like I used too, and would love to opportunity to experience this opportunity!

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf? I've been a TaylorMade fan since I started playing golf in '06. I played the TM TP MC's before my Mizuno and loved them. I've been looking forward to trying the new line and a fitting from TM would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Being a numbers guy, I love trying new gear and maximizing potential through a proper fitting. I hear Carlsbad is nice this time of year as well. Thanks!

Current Irons: PXG 0311T 4-PW Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 +3/4 inch standard lie

Fit: Yes, through a PXG rep on Trackman last September at Arbor Links in Nebraska City, NE.

Why: I have switched to a M2 driver and 3 wood this year and have seen excellent results. I have switched to the TP5x ball too and have been totally impressed with its performance. So I figure that the irons have to be just as good plus who wouldnt want to take part in a tour fitting at Taylormade Headquarters, it would be a trip of a lifetime.

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? No

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf. I took off about 20 years from the game for work & family and started up again strong about 2 years ago. I've worked myself down from a 15 when I jumped back in to just under a 2. I Live locally in Southern California - play twice per week, practice religiously at the range and at home on my Skytrak. I spend my free time surfing golf websites, watching golf on tv, dreaming about golf and learning from youtube! I'm ready to take my game to the next level.

Fit for current irons in January of 2013 at Club Champion golf in Chicago

I would like to attend because a lot has changed in the four years since I've been fit - I have a family and job that keep me busy, and my swing is different now. • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) -- (4-PW) Mizuno JPX 900 Tour, Project X 5.5; (52, 56, 60 wedges) Mizuno T7, Project X 5.5
  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? -- yes, sort of... it wasn't a "true and complete fitting"... the sales professional let me swing a few irons and we analyzed some of the results on a launch monitor at Van's Golf in Gilbert AZ; April 2017
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf -- 1) I've done my best at studying/researching clubs, shafts, etc. and tried to figure it out myself... sort of like I do with Home Depot when my wife asks me to fix something on our home. I would love to be taught by the Taylor Made R&D pros and have them help me figure out the best technology for me and my swing. 2) I've tried Ping Eye 2, Callaway X Forged, TaylorMade Burner Bubble Oversize (1997), Titleist 990, and Mizuno JPX 900 irons... my game is essentially the same. I'd love to see what I can do with equipment that fits me properly. 3) I love the TM brand... Carlsbad, CA//being able to hang out and talk golf with the TM experts; experience the factory... would be unbelievable. I play TM M2 3&5 woods and the TP5X ball... love 'em and I'm already marketing TM products to my golf buddies. It'd be super cool if I could bring back some knowledge and technology to my three high school golf teams in Gilbert and Queen Creek AZ... I'm the CEO of a K-12 charter school and I couldn't think of a better partner for our high school golfers and coaches. Thank you!!!

I've been through a Taylormade Performance Lab fitting in the past, but the software was quite buggy and the fitter struggled with the fitting. The new forged line has me very excited for an opportunity to own an all Taylormade bag (14 clubs). I would love the opportunity to be properly fit by the Kingdom for a set of modern forged irons...please update me to 2018!

  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific): Wilson Staff FG Tour V2 Forged Irons with Project X 6.0 shafts. Standard L/L/L
  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? I got fit at a Demo Day event at Carls Golfland in Bloomfield Hills. My grandfather offered to buy me my first set of irons when I was graduating high school. I didn't go on any launch monitor, but the Wilson rep let me hit a couple different shafts. Long story short, the rep convinced me into buying that set on the spot and I've played them the last 6 years.
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: I'm a broke kid who just graduated from college this spring with a whole lot of debt. There's no way I could dream of affording to do something like this, at least not for a couple years. I'd love to document the experience and I know I'd be able to write a recap justifying my selection.

P.S. this is my first post. pretty exciting.

Current Irons: Nike Vapor Fly Pro with XP95 stiff flex, plus 1 inch

I was fit at a local Demo day, but only for for club length and lie angle

I would like the opportunity to be fit at The Kingdom because it is difficult to test irons and find what works best from long irons to shorter irons. Plus it would be great to chat with clubfitters who fit some of the best players and gain some knowledge about the processes involved.

PING I20 IRONS WITH KBS TOUR REGULAR FLEX

I FIT MYSELF FOR THEM 2 YEARS AGO.

I WOULD LIKE TO BE PROFESSIONALLY FITTED BECAUSE I WAS HIT BY A TRAIN ON A MOTORCYCLE AT THE AGE OF 19 AND PICKED UP GOLF IN 1993. I HAVE CERTAIN PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS AND I FEEL I COULD PLAY EVEN BETTER IF I COULD BE FITTED WITH CLUBS PROPERLY. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR ME TO KNOW I WOULD BE SWINGING CLUBS THAT FIT MY LIMITATIONS.

  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when?: Never fit for these irons

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: I was always told Mizuno makes the best irons in golf. I used to play Ping i15 irons before I bought the Mizuno MP 64's to make myself a better ball striker and have managed to do just that. My plan was to get fit for new Mizuno irons this winter but I would love the opportunity to get fit for Taylormade irons. I'd like to add more distance to my irons and TaylorMade is know for having irons that go long. The combination of that with being custom fit would be an awesome experience. I'm not a scratch golfer but I play at least 4 times a week and i'm constantly online looking at videos or reading articles on how to get better. I think getting fit for irons would help shave 3-5 strokes off of my handicap and ultimately help me get closer to scratch. Me and my main golf buddy discuss equipment and techniques everyday and do our own reviews on equipment & gear...everything from clubs to shoes and shirts. I've purchased 2 expensive after-market shafts(Oban Kiyoshi Black 05 & Graphite Design Tour AD DI 7S) for my driver. I've customized my putter. I've purchased virtually ever kind of ball on the market including Vice Pro Plus, Volvik Vivid, & Snell My Tour Ball. I've pretty much tried everything but a fitting for irons, I would be awesome to see how much improvement I can see with a proper fitting.

BTW I am a 14 year old kid in Los Angeles, California. I am using my dads account to apply for this experience.

Current USGA Handicap: 5

Irons: PSI irons 4-PW with S-flex KBS C-Taper 105g shafts, 1 degree flat.

Fitting: Yes. I was fitted by Jason at J's Golf Shack at Simi Hills Golf Course

Reason for application: I am a 14 year old kid who's in LOVE with Taylormade Clubs! I have been using Taylormade clubs for years! I had a set of Aeroburners and i went from a spider rossa putter to now playing a daddy long legs+ putter. I have had my Taylormade EF wedges for a while now and i have 2016 M1 Taylormade Driver, and both 3 and 5 wood version of the 2016 M1, and i now have PSI irons. I am a die hard Taylormade fan. I only use Taylormade balls and always wanted to go to the kingdom ever since i first found out about it years ago when i first got interested in Taylormade, I have always dreamed of one day going there and i think this might be the way I get it. I also haven't gone to have a fitting in almost 8 months so i think this would help me in my game especially since i have changed a lot in height, strength, and speed and i think i need a fitting. Thanks, Noah.

  • I purchased the irons on GolfWRX three years ago, they were adjusted and custom fitted for me at Victory Golf in Lake Wylie South Carolina.
  • Attending. fitting in Carlsbad would be an incredible experience, I visited there in the 90's while stationed there in the US Navy and the team was great to repair a Burner Bubble Driver that I had at the time. I have been very fortunate in my life and most of it can be attributed to golf, my lifelong dream was to attempt to make a living playing or teaching golf, although life has taken me in a different direction, golf has been a focus the entire time. Being raised by a hairdresser and welder, golf was not affordable for us, but a wonderful customer of my mothers owned Valley Golf Club,a 9 hole golf course tucked in between corn fields in Ohio, they let me come there in the summers to play for $2.00 per day. I was under the impression that you had to be "rich" to play golf, so I decided I would learn to play golf and that would make me rich. Being self taught has given me great pride, but I would love to have the opportunity to spend time matching my game to equipment and seeing where this could take me. This trip would not be all about me, I believe it is important to give back and if I was lucky enough to be selected, the clubs I currently use would be payed forward to another fellow lefty less fortunate than I. Thank You for your consideration
