I haven't finished reading through so my apologies if you've answered it, but did the topic of Nunchuk shafts come up with Johnny? These have always intrigued me, but I've never hit one. Did he or his caddy talk about them at all versus other shafts on the market and why he plays them?

Amazing post, easily the best I've ever read on here! (Sorry everyone who's gone to The Oven). That said, I know you touched on Nike, did Rory say anything about the rzn ball he was playing? Or about the engage wedges?

 

We did talk about Nike's stuff and there are a few things I don't feel its my place to talk about in the sense of things he did or didn't like. However, we talked about the Nike Ball he was playing; he had a bunch of good stuff to say about it - since it did win him a bunch of cash. I don't remember exactly what he had said about how many were left - but the jist was "they aren't making anymore so I had to make the switch at some point". No, I didn't ask about the wedges - I should have.

Awesome story.....one of the best I have read on here in a long time. I've been a semi Rory fan for a little while but hearing this really makes me like him a lot.....It's always good to hear the behind the scenes stories on these guys and find out that they are genuinely good people and aren't super arrogant and entitled like some other pro athletes.

 

Also, thank you for your service. I know you said you only fix stuff but what you do is extremely important and I cannot thank you and others serving enough for your contributions.
