I'm not a lefty but these kind of posts are disingenuous. It is not the same thing. Whether it plays similarly from a pure functionality perspective may be true, but I agree..Taylormade swung and missed big by not offering such a highly anticipated club to lefty's. The hype built by the tour exclusivity and then the long tease as to when they would be released resulted in this club being one of the most talked about and anticipated clubs in a while, they could have easily sold enough left handed models to pay for the tooling and labor to make a smaller batch. There is a business cost to disappointing your customer base..

 

TM is a for profit company along with everyone else. Producing these clubs for lefties would not result in a profit. It's a lose lose. Pissed off lefties > losing money in my opinion. Who knows they could have something in the pipe for lefties and the P790 UDI was a late edition to build off the success of P790 irons.

TM was not a 'for profit' company, which is why Adidas sold it

Now private equity is trying to "pretty it up" for an exit as soon as possible....speaking of 'for profit'

Got mine back from my builder with a pro white 100TX (tipped 0.5”). All I can say is wow, this shaft unlocks what the head can do. I was a little worried it would just hit low bullets but you can hit high cuts, low slinging draws, etc. very much impressed with the head.

I was about to sell mine but played with it this weekend. Crazy long bullets. It was as far as my 3 wood. Now I dont know what to do, I just dont elevate it enough for a hybrid change out...

Bend it weak for a bit more launch. Swap in for hybrid when needed, no need to get rid of a winning club just cause it doesn’t fit in perfectly

No. Usually less, assuming you're not hitting even harder down on it off a tee.

Agreed. I would pick up the 3i and then rotate in and out as necessary.

Was an idea as I don’t really ever use the 4 iron, agree create a gap but a gap that isn’t an issue, never hit a 4 iron of the fairway would only be off the tee, so thought about turning it up and utilising it more.
