2017 Callaway X Forged (2018 Spotted Pics)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like the head size of the '18 x-forged is similar to that of the '16 Apex CF if it's slightly larger than the '13 x-forged.....which I think is a good thing.

 

BTW.....D St. Louis.....what shaft did you hit? I heard PX will be standard. Any thoughts?

I agree, sounds like the size of these could be just about perfect! Now, we just need Callaway to give up the release date, shafts, and when we can pre-order; I know I am wishful thinking, but the new DG 120 shafts would be a perfect match for these.

Release date is 11/3 for the MBs and the X forged. Stock shaft on the MBs is the S200, not sure about the X forged.

I am guessing S200 is the Japanese stock shaft...I was hitting PX 6.0 in all clubs, glued head 7 irons and 4 UT.

I wonder if they will have those different Tour sets like earlier X-forged ie.... 2Dot, 4Dot, H, and L. It seems the Tour players get all those choices, wonder if they are already being used now on different Tours.

 

How are the 2Dot and 4Dot different than retail? I would think the other two are for heavy and light.

hmmm, I hate Project X, hopefully they worked with True Temper Golf to get the new DG 105's, 115, and 120 shafts as a option (Non Tour Issue). I know the none 'TI ' shafts aren't scheduled for release until January 18.

Yes, you are correct, I'm hoping for the NEW DG shaft selection to be a option for the new X-Forged this year. Callaway offers just about every shaft out, a lot with no uncharge, and some with a reasonable uncharge.

There will be plenty of other no upcharge options.

Those heads are growing on me: If they are as soft as 2013 and slightly larger [then the 2013]... these will be the most popular CB of 2017/2018.

Callaway offers 30+ steel shaft model options in irons. Almost all of them are no up-charge as well. You should be covered.
