Looks like the old Corza putter with a fancy new red paint scheme to me

I believe he used to use that model some years ago?

It's the TaylorMade Chaska model. He used it about a month ago for a tournament as well. Forget which tournament it was but it looks like it has made a return to the bag.

I apologize it wasn't exactly new, but still different from what he was playing in what seems to be a big carousel of putters. I just find it interesting and why it's so fun to get out there and take pics of everything that's happening, there's a lot of practice and fine tuning as well as tinkering on a Tuesday of a tournament like this.

Wait what happened to the Axis??

Oh wait, like I said in that thread Rose will continue to switch putters. It's not that the Axis was good or bad it's just Rose loves to switch putters.

I'm not in Chicago for the BMW but I'd make a good guess that TM put the squeeze on him to put their putter back in play.

There was certainly no sign of the Axis anywhere near him or his bag

I'd like to see him use an Evnroll ER7. It's very close to the Rife Barbados that he used back when he was putting at his best. Plus the grooves make a real difference.

Greg your probably why but then why even try or start using/practicing with a different brand. Is it to switch up the look and feel or is he testing it to see if he really wants to use it? I'm not sure how contracts work but if I was under contract with TM I would just test TM putters until I found the right one.

I don't think it's as extreme as Hideki, 5 putters/choose one on Wednesday, but there is always a back up. And maybe a certain putter helps them check alignment or corrects something. Probably happens more often than we suspect.

It has a new name, but it's a red Corza. I really liked that putter. The red not so much. There are several new red TaylorMade models. Looks like TaylorMade and Callaway are having a red putter war against each other.

Seems like TM and Callaway are constantly going back and forth.

TM: Everyone check out this new red Spider Tour putter color

Callaway: Ohhh, we like that. Everyone buy our new line of red putters including a red #7!

TM: Hmmm, New putter idea! Everyone buy our new red putter that is definitely not the same head shape as the Odyssey #7! Even Jason Day is using it!

It's a cycle that won't stop any time soon.

    • APPLY NOW: L.A.B. Golf MEZZ.1 Putter (Early Access) Member Testing! 10 Testers Needed!
L.A.B. Golf is choosing ten GolfWRX members to receive their MEZZ.1 putter early and put their brand new product to the test before reporting back to the community about what they see. The selected testers will be one of the first to experience the MEZZ.1 from L.A.B. GOLF, their newest Lie Angle Balanced design, ahead of it's January 2022 launch!

About The L.A.B. Golf Mezz.1 Putter
MEZZ.1 is our new mid-mallet putter that’s fully CNC machined from a billet of 6061 aircraft aluminum (body) and 303 stainless steel (midsection) to create our best-feeling — and we think best looking — putter to date. It includes 10 weights (eight on the bottom, two on the sides) that allow us to individually build each putter to a golfer’s exact specifications.

      How To Apply
In a post below, answer the following questions.

      1. City, State?
      2. Handicap?
      3. What is your current putter?
      4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter?
      5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter?
      6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos?

That's it! @labgolf and GolfWRX will choose the testers in about 2 weeks! This testing event is for good-standing members in the USA only!
