Callaway's new Apex MB and X Forged irons

I dont want to hype things up but the retail store I work in just recieved 3 models. X-forged, MB and MB raw version. Looks like all our dreams comes true!

confused by the article. So the prices are the same, but if you go MB you get 2-PW/AW (10-clubs) for the same price as X-Forged which is 3-PW? Or did you mean a 2-iron and AW is available in the MB model, but it's 3-PW for $1300?

 

if it's 2-PW/AW i'll buy a set tomorrow at that price haha

I'm guessing that is the availability of the clubs, like you mentioned.

The guy who took the picture also has a blog on our stores website saying it is a raw version since that bastxxx has tested the irons. He said it felt more spinny due to face surface felt a bit "rough" becuase of the raw carbon steel. Chrome felt more smooth ofc.

Prefer the looks of the ol X Forged. It will be tough to improve upon that set.

I have an earlier set of MBs I have been using for about 6 months. Mine have 4 additional grooves, 17 total. Any idea what difference that would have over this version?
