You have to call in the order. I placed another order yesterday for my 3rd set (backup to my backup) of '18 XF'ed and traded in one of my backup EPIC SZ drivers and 2 of my backup SZ 3W's. My net out of pocket was $450 for a custom set, because I got the extra 50% trade in allowance applied. Oh, it does exist. Cally wants to make a huge splash with these, and they are. Also, if you pull up this specific iron itself, on their website.......at the bottom, it says "50% BONUS trade in."

X forged are quite a bit softer, forgiveness I would say is comparable actually, dispersion is similar. 770's definitely have more spin in fittings and comparisons with my shaft of choice. Launch was higher with 770's.

The 2013 X-Forged is an all-time classic, a Roger Cleveland masterpiece. Anything comparable is very strong. I loved the look of the 2013 and may give it a slight edge over the new one, but they borh look pretty good.

 

I would rate the forgiveness on the 2013 model as not bad but not tremendous for a players iron, so good to hear of improvement there. A more forgiving, slightly improved 2013 is a winner, given there are pros still competing with the 2013s. I like the sole on the new ones and that is something I always pay attention to, far more than topline.

 

And I'd like to swing the MB in scoring irons. Interesting mid-sized sole on those makes them more forgiving than one might expect by looking at their muscleback design. Callaway is really off to another great year with these designs.
