WHC - when does that white/navy iridescent drop?

I ordered it from Dicks Sporting Goods back in March when they had it up, it's no longer on there I don't think. Currently Golf Poser is the only place I know that have them, no idea when the official release for US is.

 

Official date is supposed to be May 7th for the whole pack. Roshe G, course classic, Tour Premiere and Lunar Control Vapor 2.

Just picked up my Racer Gs here in Manhattan. I wear 11.5 in my regular flyknit racers and got the same size, fit great- will offer full feedback for anyone who's curious after my next round.

 

Wore mine for two range sessions, first round in them tomorrow. So far I’m really impressed, might be my favorite shoe.

 

For reference, I also did the same size as I wear in the Racer sneakers.

the non grandpa-strap version of the TW71 is on sale at my local GG for $79 in the white/white colorway

I was looking for a warm/dry weather shoe and almost went with the Racers or Roshe, but found the Platinum FI's for $55. I just received from UPS, and these things are awesome, so light and comfortable, plus had "wide" sizes, and look good.

 

I was leaning toward the racers, just saved $120.......whew!

I mean, I get it, I am as bad as the next guy about getting new Nike releases. This, however is probably a pair of shoes I am sending out to the folks new place in PS. I am a dew sweeper here at home, but want all of my basics just out there for when I go (clubs, bag. shoes, and a few other things), so this was one of my sensible purchases.

 

The Racers do look good, was just worried about support. I guess the reviews will be coming in fast now....

I had the FI bermuda last year, they got dirty so quick it was ridiculous. They were SUPER comfortable though, but the light grey colorway I had them in is now spotted/stained/orange/black...and theyre going to goodwill.

 

The roshe g is far superior and worth the paltry $80 for a golf shoe IMO. Use a Dicks 10% off code or something and they are a steal around 60$.

Played 18 in the Flyknit Racers today.. they basically feel like you're golfing in Flyknit Racers, lol! Lots of people on my IG asked about the fit and stability and basically told them exactly that. Bottom offers good grip and slightly more stable than the actual Racer, but it feels like a Racer.. not sure what else to say. Overall was solid, they look really cool and are very comfortable.. but not what I would call "stable" by any means.. I like the bottoms better than the Roshe, less pillowy, lower to the ground, not as comfy as the Roshe, but probably a little better to swing in.

Any feedback on the Nike Explorer 2 shoes?

 

Once my kid gets out of school (few weeks) for the summer, am going to be taking half days on Friday and taking him out to play. He has a full set of sticks, need a pair of decent, inexpensive shoes.

They don't do anything for me, to be honest. As of right now, my favorite shoe is the Lunar Command 2 BOA. I haven't played my new Premiere's yet...that will be tomorrow. In the house, the Tour Premiere feels pretty damn solid. But, I love my LC2's.

I do have a few pairs of TW71' as well, like them a lot since I think TW71' resembles TW SP8 the closest.
