So what makes this year's Aeroloft jackets & vests better than the previous ones?

 

Also, are the "Therma" pull-overs stretchy? I've been wearing a couple Adidas Climawarm pull-overs that are warm, slim, and stretchy. There's no bunching of material, and no restriction when swinging. I'm passively looking for the same thing in a Nike 1/4 zip -- but the latest I've read on the Therma (or something like it) is that the arms are tight and the midsection is loose and blousey. That's not at all the fit I'm after.

 

I tried on the Therma Crew at Burlington a few weeks ago and the arms were VERY tight. had a hard time getting it on/off to be honest.

 

I bought some in this latest sale (loved the Range Crew from a couple years ago and was looking for something "similar"). I've found the arms to be both tight and short. Can't decide if I'm going to keep them.

 

same experience for me. i also found the bottom around the waist to be large so it flopped around. all in all the whole thing just didn't fit well or look good to me. i immediately returned the 2 i bought.

Nike usually has a 1/1 release and a 3/1 release. Sometimes adds 2/1 and 4/1. Totally depends on color ways and what it is.

I decided last night to return the four colors I bought too. Spent a lot of time debating whether the arms were too short and then figure that if I had to think about it that much then I should pass.

I bought a couple of the pull overs and at first I thought it was tight in the arms, but after I warmed up for a round & played, it did stretch and was a great layer to have.

Its different than last year model. Inside is still perforated but it has outer layer that makes the arms warmer. I like it better than last year model to wear during this time of the year.

OUCH! I ordered 4 hats from GP & luckily mine didn't get crushed. I was surprised they didn't ship hats in boxes.

Those Aeroloft jackets are ridiculous at $250. I paid less for my MH 800 fill stretch down jacket, and I can play golf in it if I want.

 

The good part, they will be $80 on ebay this Spring.

That one is actually from 2016. I only have a vest for that year but 2017 model fits tight and torso is little long. Arms are perforated so it feels alot colder than I would like. I have this years model as well and they feel softer and warmer.

So the 2016 aeroloft jacket fits bigger then 2017? I bought the 2017 in my normal size small and it fit way to tight in the chest torso. Sent it back and like the look of 2016 better and was going to order medium. Thinking different now if it doesn't fit like 2017 model. Anyone have experience with both years?

Have they released a catalog for the 2019 line yet? Usually they do that before Mid December if memory serves me correctly. That way people can start to drool a little bit before the 1/1 release.

I have no idea whether it's a '16 or '17, but I have the exact jacket you linked to. It's snug. I'm 6'-0" and thin, and the Large I have is snug. Now, it fits exactly how I want it to -- but if you don't want it to fit snugly, then you should go up a size. (For me, the XL might have worked if I wanted to really layer underneath of it, or wasn't getting it for golf and didn't mind a looser fit, but the sleeves were also too long on the XL. For reference, I find myself needing the sleeve length of larger sizes and the body sizing of something smaller, but the sleeves on these are good and long.)

 

As stated earlier, the torso length of this is on the longer side. So, if you're short and stout, and you don't have long arms, then this might feel too long by the time you fit it to your body.

Picked up the Brushed Crew Neck. Material is much thinner than I expected but with the fleece like material on the inside, going to test tomorrow since it’s not supposed to rain tomorrow.

Perfect for 40-50 degree weather. I wore a long sleeve compression under it and was perfect. Material allowed for great movement.
