Titleist Staff Stand Bag?????

I have been considering picking up the staff stand bag but after talking to my club pro he mentioned that the bag might be too heavy for walking. i mainly walk so this was a concern to me, I'm really picky on bags and its the cleanest and has the amount of pockets I'm looking for but the weight concerns me. so if you have used this bag or have it, could you give me some insight on the weight of it when walking

I have the taylormade version. They are both similar and I have had 0 issues with mine. Its not the lightest bag in the world but I can honestly say i could play 36 with it if need be ( and have ).

I have a 2015 staff stand and have used it for walking a few times. It's not bad. It is heavier than a typical walking/stand bag and a little bulkier as well, but the straps are sturdy and comfortable. Also helps that its a very nice looking bag. Ultimately, I guess it depends on how sensitive you are to these things when you walk. I'm always amazed at how much of a difference even a small amount of weight can make. If you were using it primarily for riding and occasionally walking, I would say most likely a good fit. For a primary walking bag, you just have to be willing to trade off weight and bulk for more room and looks.

Not even close to the weight of a typical staff bag. I have the 2017 Staff Stand Bag and its awesome, slightly heavier, but worth it. Would highly recommend looking into them if you're still in search.

It's not as light as most carry bags but the strap system is super comfortable and I think it feels lighter than it really is. I think as long as you don't overload it, you could do it. It's heavy cause it's durable. I walk mine but on my clicgear, great fit and a great bag overall.

I want to think the staff stand bag is a couple pounds heavier than a typical stand bag. In the big picture, that's really not a big deal in my opinion. Not much different than having a water bottle in your bag and extra golf balls in your bag vs not.

If you like the style of the bag and the setup of the top and pockets, then you should get it.

2016 staff stand bag user here.

I agree with other posters that this bag is slightly heavier than your typical carry bag. However, it is one of the best looking bags with a stand.

Like another poster mentioned, if you are going to use this bag primarily for walking, it can be a load. For me, I rarely walk, but I like to have a stand bag for range sessions and for the occasional possibility that I will have a walking round.

I don't personally own this bag, but I caddie at private clubs and have carried it several times (considering most of our pros have them). It's easily doable as a walking bag as long as you don't overload it. 9 balls, a few tees markers and divot tools, and your rangefinder. I've even carried it as part of a double bag loop a few times and didn't feel overly strained. MUCH better than a regular staff bag but not as light as your standard ping hoofer.
