I did something like this but using 1x4s that I kregged together, stained and then used command tabs on. Have about 50 flags up in my golf shop of courses that I’ve played.

Found a fellow online who uses flags, jerseys, etc to make headcovers. Thought this was a great idea also. Here are a few examples from his Instagram. What do you all think? I am planning on giving him a try.

My wife and I recently bought a house in Arizona and that is where I decided to hang some framed flags. The woman who frames them for me also adds a small brass plate at the bottom indicating the year that I played the courses for the first time. I see a lot of empty wall space and I have told my wife that I will need to be making a few more road trips to clean up that problem.

If size and uniformity for the sake of a tidy display is an issue, by one size of frame and make sure that chosen frame can comfortably accommodate your biggest flag. That way, all the frames can be arranged with uniformity and consistency. The bigger flags will look good and your smaller flags will also look good, but with just a little more space around them than the larger ones. You might then display them in groups, one wall with bigger flags, and one with smaller, but all in the same size frames that can be aligned properly etc.

Love the fact this has been dug up from a few years back.

Don’t ask for pictures though as they were hanging in our mountain house and I just took them all down to sell the house as we look to buy another one on the golf course. Of course I forgot to take pictures. I’m a guy.

Did you ever replicate this in a new home? I am looking to do something similar in my space.

Had to get creative due to space limits. Industrial piping with clips. You can easily swing through them and see them all. And saves a ton of displaying space. Think there about 30 on there with room for 50 more if needed
