I got mine out for the first time last weekend and to be honest i was a little afraid to hit them b/c they looked so good. They performed wonderfully and the feel is so much better than my Vokeys.

Went in late December of last year, and received my wedges end of February . The in house fitting process was truly incredible. I can honestly say the knowledge thrown around in those couple of hours transformed my short game. I learned so much about the game, the equipment and the technique in such a short span of time that it makes me wonder how i even considered myself a solid wedge player prior to this. Spending time hitting different shots with different tools was eye opening. The difference in flight, the feel and the results spoke for themselves.

I went in with no agenda, and no preference as to how many or what type of wedges i would get. I trusted their recommendations blindly (with some hesitation) and ended up going with a different shaft with different flex and length than what i was gaming. Added a 55 and a 60, and the performance is so much better than what i am used to that i just placed an order for a 50 that will replace my favorite club in the bag. I think that says it all.

I feel like i am a completely different post Artisan visit. I would pay just to go and hear Mike T and Jamie give a couple pointers and feedback on your short game. That alone is worth the price of admission.

If you are serious about your game, regardless your index, and want to get better, do yourself a favor and TRY to get down to their facility.

My 4 wedges shipped out yesterday; the wait of only 262 miles delivery is frustrating!

Where you on the putting green in the afternoon avoiding the balls I thinned? John did say he had 3 fittings that day.

Around the first week of Jan. Don’t remember exactly which day.

but to be fair. My process involved me sending in wedges that I wanted to closely follow , They measured each aspect of them , shipping time baCk and forth , plus multiple days of conversations about changes I wanted. I think all that was finalized around Jan 30 ish.

 

I was very specific on leading edge shape for the sand ..., appearance of offset for the lob wedge achieved by a round leading edge and the hosel to face transition . All that plus weight considerations because I play wedges longer than most. In short. I’m high maintenance.

Yea. The glides are just place holders. My preferred shape is the vokey 300 series. I had a 53 and 59 that I literally wore the middle of the face off of. This has been a discontinued model for years at retail. I had a pair of limited copper , so impossible to replace. Until now !

I was in around 8 and out a little after 1. Someone came in as I was leaving, but I can't remember their fitting appointment. Hopefully my bluebonnets will ship soon.

I was the same way. I shipped wedges out. They measured. We talked, talked some more. Finalized. Talked more. Nothing since but I have to assume mine are not far behind. He said 6 weeks.
