I had to push my appt back once because of COVID. I made the 8 hour drive from Kansas City so I wouldn't have to get on a plane. What an experience. So cool, everyone was super nice. Jamie and the entire team were amazing and I learned a ton about wedges and other stuff in general. 6 weeks cannot come soon enough haha

I am coming from Minnesota. Flights are cheap and hotels are as well. Round trip for me will be less then $500 including the fitting, travel, and hotel which is a steal.

I did not find that the experience was limited in any way whatsoever. They are taking safe measures but I did not feel like I missed out on anything at all, really. It was great

Wedges are $300/ea with added costs for upgraded shafts and more stamping/color. The fitting is included in the price.

I dont think bob vokey spending 3 hrs with you is a ripoff. Its very expensive, but he is by far the best wedge guy with a ton of experience on tour.

I think that’s a lot relative to Mike Taylor being $200 with $100 back if you purchase. If artisan had a rep and made a larger push on your they would have similar numbers to vokey for non staff players with their product.

You are truly part of the "Artisan Army" for life after the fitting. I am debating about switching my shafts so i shot them an email and no problem at all to come back over for a fitting to get back on the Trackman at no cost. Can't say enough great things about the whole crew over there.

Wedges take 6 weeks from fitting date...thats a long time.

Have been fortunate enough to have wedges ground by both Mike Taylor and Aaron Dill (and consider both friends). Two different types of products- yet both are class gentlemen who have best performance of respective product in mind for players, and work incredibly hard at craft and relationship building. Both would never say a negative word about another craftsman’s work, simply describe why they think certain things would work better for individual players- lots of value there, in my opinion.

I think I was about 7 weeks. I assume you still have old wedges and can use them when you wait. I practiced with mine prior to the stay at home order then decided not to golf for the majority of it, just practice.

I have now playedd 2 full rounds with my 4 wedges and still yet to use my 50* on the course, I was driving the ball too well!

Did you get a PW, gap, sand, and lob? And if so what was the reasoning for getting a PW with him instead of your stock one in the set. I’m going in June and still trying to decide if I wanna get a PW

When I bought my 919 Tours I only ordered 4-9 iron. Last 3 or 4 wedge sets I have gone specialist wedges. I normally play a lot of links golf when I can get back to Scotland so I bump and run a lot with my 46* plus to me a PW is a wedge so rather have it the same as the rest of the wedges.
