Seriously though, it would be fun to have a tournament over a few days (maybe a Ryder Cup format). Meeting a gaggle of my fellow members would be just as fun as the golf.

I think it should be a 2 man better ball .... and the winners get an exemption into the USGA finals at Bandon, let's do this. Someone talk to the slurry USGA president

 

Isn't Fireblade in FL a +6 (lowest Am on here I think) and for sure we have some tour players on here like Bowditch, Jason Gore and others

 

We should have suitable prizes; like best shoes, best hat, long drive on every par 5, best humblebrag etc etc

 

I want PepperTurbo in my group for sure, I want to see this Ferrari golf cart and a bag with 1 and 2 irons in it

 

Where's Yorkey ???? ... we've played in the Cdn Mid-Am together ... we could be team Canada .. 50+ Senior division .. I like our chances

Funny, have played with 2 members on here, played well the first time, shot 79 on a more difficult course, second time, shot my worst round in 5+ years (we will just say the score started with a 9....lol). It was also a more difficult track.

 

I tried not to make any excuses, but am guessing one slipped out somewhere.

Not necessarily Midwest but somewhere with ease of travel. Big airport lots of hotels etc. Texas, Minnesota, Chicago etc
