Tiger dumps Chris como!!!

I thought this was old news. He said before the Hero he was doing things on

his own......the reason being he was not sure what his body was going to allow

him to do, swing wise, and needed to figure that out on his own.

 

Tiger said during the Hero that he wasn't sure if he'd go back to Como and that he'd make a decision later

 

LOL we know how Tiger is. Como was already history; he just didn't want to

announce that then and have that be a distraction.

Won’t be going back to Butch, he already posted for people to stop asking him to return to his 2000 swing. Can’t and won’t per his posting. Can’t go back to Haney as that would be too expensive in popsicles...

 

As Trevino said anyone can hit a driver, irons and putt, but Tiger’s problem going forward will be his Wedge play that was the strongest in the game for years and now might be iffy/yippy...

Butch is the only Type A Agressive that Tiger’s ever worked with aside from his father-

He and Tiger share some serious war stories and only Butch can look Tiger in the eyes and take him back to those glorious days and memories-

Been hoping for this.

 

You reach a point when you know what does and doesn't work as well as what the body will and won't do.

 

This is something more guys are going to start doing. More times than not when these guys are successful they go out and

get a new swing coach thinking they will be taken to the next level. Turns out to be the beginning of the end more times than not.

I would totally encourage this. Butch doesn't have a system that he coaches that every player has to fit into. He works with what the player has. But once Tiger leaves somebody, he doesn't come back to them. Except his Scotty Cameron putter.

You probably heard Brian Katrek recount that he walked with Tiger's group during a practice

round at the Hero. He asked Tiger if that was THE Scotty and he said Tiger said nothing and

just handed him (Brian) the putter. So Brian walked holding that putter for about a hundred

feet......all giddy..........holding history. Cool story.

I don't think Butch would try to force him to use the 2000 swing. If it's bad on his knees and back, then they would try something else.
