Yeah, TW!

Go it alone.

Just get a pack of Lucky Strikes and go hit some balls

BH had an amazing swing. Motion like a piston. Would have loved to see him play in person.

TW sneezes

Golfrwx goes nuts ; )

HaHa, now I’ve got the Shark in my avatar and I’m pullin for Tiger to make one last charge, lol

I love this place?

Don’t worry, I’m still skeptical of Freddie, lol

Just cuz he bought pizza and ice cream for a bunch of kids doesn’t mean that he’s not a dick, it just mean’s that he wa tryin to impress Maddie’s BFF, lmao

Madison says that I’m too cynical, haha

Ya know, maybe I’m the dick?

Have a very Merry Christmas ? Bro!

My Best,

Richard

Rich-arrrd! Happy Holidays to you and your crew ; )

Good stuff. And I agree, TW could benefit from a cool customer like Butch who knows TW from back in the day.

Athletes benefit from somebody to talk to so even if its just to "shoot the $hit" while hitting balls, be good to have Butch in his corner again.

But the other thing too is if TW is off all those drugs. If his head is on straight and his body will let him work an honest day at least 5 days a week then we could see a little run.

Just a few nice runs of the best golf he can play.

Thats all I want to see.

Big cheers to you. God Bless and hope to see you out here often ; )

I think his friend Notah is more involved with Tigers come back than we know, I believe Notah recommended Como in the first place. Tiger will "Find it in the Dirt" like Trevino states, he just needs more reps.

Butch's philosophy was more about removing the parts that wasn't needed in the golf swing. Tigers new swing looks more compact without a lot of moving parts, don't really see how Butch can help other than mental perspective.

Won't be going back to Butch, he already posted for people to stop asking him to return to his 2000 swing. Can't and won't per his posting.

I don't think Butch would try to force him to use the 2000 swing. If it's bad on his knees and back, then they would try something else.

Thats the main issue, Tiger doesnt have time to try something elsr. It typically takes Tiger 1.5-2 years to ingrain a new swing and that would put Tiger at 44 years old. He needs to just go out and play. He knows enough to get the job done. I mean he charges $210,000 for a lesson, must know something.

He introduced them at his charity tournament, haven't read he "recommended" him (maybe he did) or that he as been involved in the comeback in any significant way - but they are friends so I assume they communicate quite a bit.

At this point in his life, he probably can't hit enough balls to change his swing. He just needs to hit a few balls from time to time to maintain flexibility. His time is better spent keeping his short game sharp.

Not sure why all the talk about changing his swing. He said he worked with Como to swing in a way that didn't hurt, maybe with that work and the surgery he feels he has accomplished that - if its about fine tuning and having someone keep an eye on what he thinks he is working on, wouldn't think it would be that big of an issue to have a "coach" - of course, someone like Butch would fit the bill perfectly for that. ;-)

If only . . . .

Well that’s because Tiger’s 42 year old sneeze still has plenty of power.

So how many people think the next coach will be Butch? My guess is 100%

Why is the assumption that he needs a coach? My guess is that if something goes wrong he might give Como a ring.

Lol he won’t be calling como after that tweet

Really? What's wrong with this tweet? Sounds pretty straightforward and complementary to me. No reason at this time that he needs a regular coach.

"Since my fusion surgery I've been working hard to relearn my own body and golf swing,"

"For now, it's best for me to continue to do this on my own. I'm grateful to Chris Como for his past work, and I have nothing but respect for him."

Tiger cutting payroll the same day Bitcoin loses 1/3 of its value. Coincidence? I think not. LaCava is next: “I’ve decided to carry my own bag in 2018. Thank you Joey for your service.”

It’s called being polite, como and him working together are toast. You ever been in a breakup? Similar type of language is used

Tiger knows his swing is fine. Now he's going to an acting coach to ramp-up his bad-Word not allowed, no-smile, steely eyed intimidation factor. He wants Justin to turn into a puddle of goo and Ricky into what looks like a handful of melted Skittles.

Tiger said recently that he would like the younger guys on tour feel like the older generation players did when he’s playing in a tournament..he would be a lot closer achieving this if he worked with Butch. Not going to happen obviously, but it’s the truth. All Butch would do it get his head straight and constantly remind him of his greatness.

It is polite language. It doesn't mean it's a break up either. The OP positioning as dumping is spin just like the media clickbait. The real story is Mission accomplished with Como, his swing is changed and solid. He probably doesn't need a coach just like he doesn't need a back doctor if all is better.
