Good. No need for a swing coach at all at this stage in the game. Tiger know what works and what doesn't by now.

That is my sentiments exactly. He knows enough about his swing and body he can do it on his own. IMHO all these swing gurus with the exception of Butch is what got his body messed up to begin with. He needs to work on his swing and closely with his doctors to prevent future injury

Hm...doctors preventing future injury? I don’t think that’s what they do. When it comes to health, they’re more like janitors, metaphorically speaking.

Well I guess you are sorta correct. Maybe i need to rephrase it instead of doctors maybe say sports medicine people and trainers

Well, I’m probably being a little unfair. When doctors talk prevention, most people go deaf. They just want a pill that’s an antidote to their continuing foolishness.

Como said he was proud of his accomplishments with Tiger. Which were what exactly?

Making bank for doing nothing.

He has literally brought billions of dollars into the golf industry, so I don't think it is nothing.

Chris Como has brought billions into the golf industry? Is that how much student loan debt he has from all his degrees?

My bad. Thought the comment was about Tiger. However, Como was working with Tiger at very tough time. Not sure any coach would of brought Tiger back.

All this proves is that golf biomechanics is just pseudo science at this point in time. Maybe in another 30 years. It's better for Tiger to just listen to his own body to prevent another injury.

There is nothing wrong to get another coach as a second eye and perhaps offer some advice. I would consider someone along the lines of Butch who teaches solid time proven fundamentals rather than a swing theory formulated from the lab.

Tiger can't play with doubt. He needs to roll with his own ideas and thoughts and not let anyone else throw doubt or another opinion into the mix. Competing thoughts will cause stress and muscle tension. At this final, last, looking-good stage of his career, he needs to be free and confident to swing for the fences. If something goes wrong for 3 consecutive rounds, see someone, yeah. Otherwise, slap a smile on his face because he's healthy and still young and get out there and kick Word not allowed...which he was born to do.

"Butch is the only Type A Agressive"

What does this mean?

He's the only guy Tiger's had that will order him around like a peon, lol. Hank admitted he

just made "suggestions" and I imagine it was the same with Foley and Como.

"Now, I feel I’ve taken it to another level. I’ve started practicing again and was out with Justin the other day and had a good time. I’m continuing to progress and trying to get strong enough to where I can handle a workload again. I would love to play a full schedule in 2018."

How many people in the world do you think would tell Woods in person that something he was doing in the golf swing was wrong regardless of what they internally thought? Haha. Probably not many.

I don't even think Chamblee would have the ***** to do it outside of on camera or over Twitter. Not saying that as it would turn into fist to cuffs, just saying that most would be a little more reserved about telling someone with his resume that he doesn't know how to play the game.

First, I think Butch probably said exactly what he thought, and often. When they first hooked up, Tiger was a kid with a ton of potential. So was Ty Tyron at one time. Nothing to get too intimidated by.

I don't think any coach has ever told Tiger he doesn't know how to play the game. That doesn't mean they can't tell him what he's doing wrong with his swing each day.

And I don't think Chamblee is all that intimidated. Even if he ought to be.

I don’t know enough how to evaluate that, but I think whomever coached and coaches him it’s such a mad, unusual dynamic you’ve not only got to get the coaching right but fit to the relationship he both wants, wants to advertise to the world, his personality and ego and, what the coach believes he requires.
