When this becomes "Forum Thread of the Day" and you feel like you've won the Nobel Prize. And you trade a Scotty for a Spider and it costs you another hundy !! Oh yeah,I bought another pair of FJs, now have 10 but only 5 still in the box .... :to_become_senile: :butcher: :cheesy:

When you buy an iron set on ebay that you always wanted to try. When they arrive they need a lie angle adjustment because they are way too upright.

It takes over a year to eventually hit them because of all the other iron sets you are rotating through.

You pick up a 4 iron to add to a set you already have. Only thing is they are not in the bag but you know that you will eventually get to play them again, and when you do you will have an alternative to that hybrid that is inconsistent.

So this thread is a year old, and the weather remains the same. So do all of us WRXers, as my new friend, 00Bolt, proved with his post about his new Miuras, his "final" set of irons. He does have a very cool bike, despite his limited prescience.... :pimp: :cheesy:

They call your trunk "The Golf Shop".

Guilty.

When you buy a new set of irons with the justification that you'll sell an old set of irons and a driver, but then when you sell the old irons and driver, you feel a burning need to bookend the new irons with a new hybrid and a set of wedges, plus that putter you've been looking at...oh, and a driver shaft that will peel 25 rpm of my driver spin. Next thing you know, you sold $600 worth of old clubs, but bought $1200 worth of new clubs!

Or worse, when you buy the clubs saying you’ll sell stuff but then you can’t part with your old stuff. You just keep spending $1200 lol

You get fit for clubs by a professional, but sell them because you're a club ho. Then you sell those one and get fit again because they didn't work

When I first came here this was the one that shocked me the most. For sale custom fit PXG sets that didn't work for the person they were custom fit for......
