???

At this point this project is a 'bust'. My buddy brought by my new 'Miuraism' 53* wedge today, but unfortunately it is simply a standard Miura wedge design with 'Miuraism' stamped on it and NOT a baby blade design like the PW. I don't have pics because as soon as I saw it I told my buddy that it isn't what I specified and I would not take it. He was understanding and said not a problem and he will return it. So now I may just try the TB Zero 52* or just stick with my 53* black wedge. ?

Spoiler Alert: their design isn't a new trend. It's simply a masterpiece design that proves itself once a golfer tries them. Their beneficial physics for all golfers is timeless.

Just got a set of ebay in great condition for my birthday. They came in 4-PW but also came with 3-6 in the CB 57s to blend. These things are a beast, and I love that I have the option to blend them. I am thinking I will go 7-PW in baby blades, but only the 5-6 in the CB 57s. Then I'll go with a 24* and an 18.5* king cobra utility iron as my 4 iron and driving iron. Just don't see myself having enough swing speed to elevate them past the 5 iron. I will have to change shafts... they came with KBS Tour 130 x shafts and they are just some combination of too heavy/stiff for me. I am used to steelfiber i110 S. I may try to just do a straight swap with my old shafts, but I'm not sure if I want to explore anything else.

Hit some of the best iron shots of the year... I hit a few stinkers as well, but these really feel so solid. I don't think I noticed much of a difference and my score was a bit higher (due to not knowing gapping and missing some greens long/short)

What I am not sure of yet is if my mishits are actually penalizing me... Or more accurately, how much they are penalizing me. I would like to know if they are costing me shots out there or if my bad shots are just bad shots no matter what club I am hitting.

I do not have a set of Miura Baby Blades, although, I have lust in my heart when I see them.

i do want to talk about the idea of a small blade and the whole sharp leading edge being easier to use.

years ago, I found a BEAUTIFUL set of MacGregor Tourney Custom The 985 irons in 2-10 iron with stiff shafts in a pawnshop.  I bought them for $40 bucks, regripped rhem, adjusted them 2* upright...and they were literally the best feeling, best performing, most solid clubs I ever hit in my life.  They had minimal offset, were so thin, you could shave with them, and the leading edge was just squared off and sharp.

this was in 1997 or 1998, and got offered a Callaway Great Big Bertha in trade, and like a fool, traded these away Because I was young and stupid,

i am not a blade afficianado, but the premise behind the BB’s seems to be the same as what I found with those Macs.

is that pretty much how it works?

I just replaced my old bb's with these beauties.  They were ordered from the factory and they are RAW!  I also got them with reduced offset.  Going to take them to the range after work. Can't wait!

What is correct?

on the hosel i have seen 3 diffferent stamp. ”Genuine” ”Made in Japan” and   ”forged”

is there a different?

All 3. All the same. I received a set of iron heads direct that within the set were 2 different hosel stamps.

I need some more enabling here. I am on the fence about getting BB with the 10th anniversary Modus 115 black shafts... I want them but I am not entirely sure haha. I currently play Titleist 620MB and looking for a 2nd iron set either the BB or TM P7TWs...

I was in the shop and put a BB 6i down at address and it looks crazy small, like almost 1/3 smaller than my own 620MB 6i...

If I were you, I'd walk away.   If you don't, you'll never play the 620s again. 😁

I don't see that happening.  To me, they are the ultimate set of tools.  Nothing has ever looked or felt like these.  Addicting is an understatement when explaining a well struck shot.  But, if I do find something better, I'll check with you first.

Happy New Year!

Happy new year! I’m the same with my MC501. Unicorns! Tour issue made for Ancer with lower offset. Nothing in the world feels like a compressed Miura. I enjoy the feeling of most forged clubs but Miura is just on a different level.

Finally joined the club yesterday after going back and forth about this for the last month. Set of 5 - P was up for sale locally with Fujikura 95 Tour Spec S flex shafts. Guy ordered them from Chip Usher awhile back but started using PXG's and shelved these until recently and then decided he wanted the newest PXGs. Looking forward to getting these out soon and seeing if the they are indeed special (which I think they will be)...

Just got these beauties in from Will Peoples. I had a set of the 1957 series several years ago, but regrettably sold them.  Happy to have the newer version back in the bag!

This thread is dangerous. I’ve now not only come to the conclusion that I need a set of baby blades, but also the conclusion that my game might improve if I I could only get them LH (don’t know if this is possible) and startover as a leftie, relearning on the BB...
