I picked up an Aeroreact polo from BCF and the tag says "custom athlete" where the size should be. Has anyone come across this during their BCF hunts?

Yes i picked up a TW Velocity max block polo shirt it has sticker "CUSTOM" covering the Medium size. Don't know what it means.

I grabbed a Nike polo from TJMaxx that had that same tag. It was my size, but very slim fitting. Nike shirts are typically a little loose on me. This was super slim in the mid section. Too slim in fact.

I personally dont need anymore golf shoes....

I don't either. These are only my brand new ones that I've never even worn yet from Ross, BCF, Nike outlets, Dick's and Roger Dunn. I did wear the white Air Force One's to the grocery store though. Missing my other pair of Vapor Storms and my AJ Trainers in white and wolf grey and my AJ III white cements. I also have 40 other pairs of older Nikes that I posted awhile back and 32 pairs Trues, Adidas, Eccos and others not Nikes. So incredibly lame.

Adidas Crossknit Boost. Would love to see these pop up at a Ross or BCF... I could actually try them on since everything I read said they are super narrow.

They’re pretty narrow but once they get in they are rather comfy. They almost feel just like a regular shoe not a golf shoe

I’ve got Fred Flintstone feet, so even a little narrow is out for me.

finally saw some Gimmies at Ross today, $24.99 isn't bad. almost bought them, but i'm holding out for those adi primeknits now that i know they are out there.

They’re not primeknit, they’re called crossknit. It’s like a waterproof version of the primeknit. Kind of like the Lebron shoe that has battleknit

Oh, ok well whatever it is if I can find them I'll buy them. Sorry I'm not a 3 stripe guy normally

Oh, I reread it it sounded flippant. I was just saying because I was actually disappointed it wasn’t primeknit. Primeknit is like Nike flyknit but a little softer. For golf shoes both of these materials would not be good because neither are waterproof or provide support or structure. They are both majorly comfortable tho.

If you wear flyknit it’s like if hey tried to make a basketball shoe out of it. It wouldn’t work well because of the lack of structure.

Also, the crossknit is water resistant not waterproof. But at that price they’re a good value. FWIW I scored the dark green pair for around $60 on an eBay sale and they are probably the most comfortable shoes to play in. You could probably wear them out and about and forget there golf shoes.

I'm gonna argue that one. Flyknit may not be for everyone in golf, but they could make it work for many. If you aren't super aggressive with foot movement there isn't a huge need for a stiffer material. I'd even argue that the lack of flexibility is a bad thing for a lot of people with limiting ability to easily transfer weight across your foot during the swing.

I routinely practice in Free Run Flyknit 4.0 and I wish this would be the upper they used for the TW15 and a bit more flexible midsole. They'd need to tweak the mid/outsole for grass traction, but it would be an amazing comfort shoe.

Not for everyone, but as a casual/walking shoe, they'd be amazing.
